Saunders will have to exhibit incredible stamina and constant movement. Else any slowing down will end with Canelo cracking his ribs. Then shortly there after, game over.

We have to hope Billy Joe doesn't freeze up and under-preform like Callum did compared to his brother against Canelo. So we can have an entertaining/competitive fight.

He needs to do what he did to Lemieux, the problem for him is Alvarez is a full level better overall fighter than Lemieux. I'm not sure Alvarez is a bigger puncher than Lemieux, but Lemieux never connected with a sharp punch or combo against Saunders.

Canelo will connect with good combos, how Saunders reacts will be the key to this fight. Also will the judges let Saunders get a decison, if GGG couldn't get anything more than a draw, I have my doubts.

Saunders is a good boxer and has launched quite a comeback since being severely out of shape some years back!

Gut is telling me Canelo steam rolls him, but it is awesome to see 2 White Athletes deuking it out in a big-time fight!

Good replies by all. I expect a good fight but if Billy can connect early to change the fight plan or even cut Canelo then anything’s can happen after that. I won’t bet against the Red Mexican though.

Alvarez a boxer/puncher vs Saunders a pure boxer. If Alvarez was just a puncher like the Canadian guy (who hits harder than Alvarez) I would like Saunders more in this one.

If Alvarez comes in over confident and Saunders has his best night over and survives some chin checks...maybe.

Canelo fights Yildirim Saturday, I'm not sure how Yildirim got a title shot but I expect Yildirim to get bulldozed.

This fight of Canelo vs Yildirim should be a good show case for Canelo and primer fight for the more difficult Saunders. One thing is certain, Saunders will have to be in the best shape of his life to have a chance of beating a peaking Canelo.

Yildirim was predictablly flattened by PEDnelo, Alvarez might have carried the Turk into the 3rd and the Turk's experienced corner saved him from a further beating at the end of the 3rd round by not letting him come out for the 4th round.

Yildrim got this title shot by losing a PBC split decision special to Anthony Dirrell, after that he sat out the rest of 2019 and all of 2020. He performed to the level of a 65 to 1 opponent but that shows you how good Alvarez is as he flattened an opponent who was even up with a top 10 Dirrell.

PS on the under card Chinese national Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang was exposed as potential James Bond henchman candidate if he learns to tumble, but isn't getting to the top of the heavyweight division if he can't improve his conditioning and learn how to pace himself when fighting against an opponent with any grit.

Zhang dropped Forrest 3 times in the first 3 rounds and then nearly lost every other round to get a lucky majority draw.
