Pretty cool list. Maybe Plant has a shot at Tennessee someday?

Rocky Marciano didn't make the list???
Who, from Massachusetts, was better than him?

According to the author it's Sandy Saddler admittedly an all time great but he doesn't have the legendary image of the Rock. Also Carl Olsen was generally regarded as White he did have some Native Hawaiian ancestry though.

For New York births Benny Leonard is a good choice but I'll take Gene Tunney over him.
I would take an undisputed heavyweight champion over any other champion except for possible elite all time great champions Leonard falls into this category. I think Crawford would need a signature win at welterweight to fall into this category.
