Ben Rothwell

He is currently one of the top young American heavyweight prospects in MMA. He is 25 years old 6'5 260 and has record of 26-5 and most of his victories coming by KO. Even thought mostof his fights are against IFL competition he hasbeen very dominate. he has deafeated the likes of Travis Fulton, Devin Cole, and Roy Nelson. His last fight was against a very talented Krystof Soszynski, who he ko in 13 seconds. Rothwell is mainly a strikes but has improved his ground game while working with Pat Militich.

Ben's got alotta potential, and I enjoy watching him fight. He has indeed improved his submission/wrestling under MFS. He could stand to cut 10-15 lbs of fat, BUT he's also an apprentice chef...so I'll give him a pass.

Prediction. Rothwell will be fighting in the UFC within a year. He's so far above the competition in the IFL that it likes being a big fish in a little pond. It's time to see what he can do in the big leagues.

Big Ben is a great fighter. He had a great fight with Roy Nelson, who just KO'd an ADCC champ. The fight was shown on Bodog Fights this last weekend.
