He's by far the best P4P Fighter on the planet!
Other than the fact that Silvia is black and the U.S. media has a fascination for black athletes, I do not understand how any professional "expert" in MMA would rate Silvia higher than Fedor as a P4P fighter. Silvia by and large must win by striking, has 3 clear losses on his record and competes within a narrow weight range. Fedor, on the other hand, has proven time and again he can win with strikes, grappling or submissions, has never really lost a fight in his life (a cut in one and a points loss in pseudo-sparring in another), and he has to fight men of many sizes and weights. If this amateur writer can see the obvious, it should be unanimous amongst experts that the man with the better record, much more complete skill, and who competes against men sometimes twice his size should be without any possible doubt at all the worlds most elite pound for pound fighter.
Can anyone imagine what would happen to Silvia if these two fought at a catch weight of say 215 pounds? Silvia's ambulance would be parked outside before the fight waiting to take him in.
