Things are getting more unsettled by the day. I think it's fair to say that it'll be quite a while before Wall Street and the banking system regain the confidence of most Americans, and that's assuming a best-case scenario where the current upheavaldoesn't lead to stark economic decline and the unrest that will surely accompany it.


If America had remained a free, neutraland independent nation, as wewere until WWI, none of this would be happening. Blessed by oceans separating us from Europe and Asia and with abundant natural resources, this could have and should have remained a land of liberty and opportunity for white people. But Americans are way too naive and malleable; our fair and trusting natures have been ruthlessly exploited and now we're in a real mess.

Looks like congress might not be going to roll over for the bailout. I'd guess if Wall Street doesn't get what they want, the crummy banks will start going belly up all over the place. Then the money they would have used for the bailout can be used to give the people their money from the failed banks.

well, FEMA has now confirmed such a document exists, George W has it and is fine-tuning it, and the assignment of the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Brigade to NorthCom was a step in the process.

Problem with all these videos is that they always feature someone who is obviously a pothead. I think the Potheads were in the minority in most of the marches but they get all the attention. That way, all protestors can be seen just a bunch of stupid potheads.

BTW, in Britain they are rioting in the streets over their most recent bailout plans. The rioters bear no resemblance to potheads and don't put up with any tyrannical police abuse. The police know better too. We've been conditioned to the point of pussification in the US.
