Andrey Klimov

I attended Friday night fights tonight in Shelton Washington and watched Andrey Klimov use great defense to win a decision against the Mexican John Molina. Klimov looked very athletic and boxed brilliantly to earn a tough decision. I believe he has the talent to make some serious waves in the future. Klimov, who is Russian but fights out of Los Angelas, improves to 16(8)-0.

It was an impressive performance by Klimov against a strong, aggressive fighter in John Molina.

Klimov was BoxRec #53 at lightweight before the fight. Because Molina was ranked #9, Klimov should now move into the top ten.

And since Molina was IBF #7, the win should get Klimov a ranking with at least that sanctioning organization, possibly the others as well.
