The former IU Wr is doing quite well in the Reds farm system. Some here may not consider him 100% white but obviously the NFL did. He ran a 4.4 forty at the combine and had great production(he caught 102 passes for 1,272 yards as a senior at IU.) Hopefully this wil be another talented white kid playing Center in a couple of years.

Means iswhite, just a little more dark-skinned than most. We had a discussion about that last year until an article was found in which he referred to himself (and his boyhood buddy Anthony Gonzalez) as white. That killed two birds with one stone.

Did Means attend a training camp for an NFL team? If he got a combines invite you would think he would at least have been a top free-agent?

I don't think he did get a look as a free agent. Could be he decided to concentrate solely on baseball after not being drafted by the NFL.
