Wow pretty powerful movie if u ask me. Any comments are appreciated.
American History X

Definitely has some powerful scenes, especially the one around the dinner table whereElliott Gouldends up slinking out with his tail between his legs. Is the only Hollywood production that doesn't portray Nazis and disaffected skinsonly as cartoon caricatures of pure evil, though the movie does have its fair share of absurd plot twists and stereotypical characters.
For example, Edward Norton's character Derrick, a well-known skinhead leader,gets just three years in prison for sadistically murdering a black thug on the street outside his home. In real life,Derrick would have gotten life without parole. There's also the obligatory Magical Negro teacher who is influential (along with a black inmate) in turningDerrick onto the path of seeing the error of his ways.
But"American History X"isnot a "black and white" movie, which gives it value, and the acting is often excellent, particularly by Norton and Beverly D'Angelo (who plays Derrick's mother). Edited by: Don Wassall

When I first saw American History X I was stunned. I could not believe that Hollywood would allow those arguments through. I didn't mind the turning away from the tribe plot but the utterly unbelivable version presented ruins the movie.
Still,American History X portrays a basic truth that white kids are better off united than atomized into easy prey. I found that out as one of the few white kids at an all-black elementary school in the early 1970s. Edited by: Bronk

Derrick( the Main character) brought up some valid points at the dinner table, the movie had me thinking throughout and i was sad to see his little brother shot at the end.
Norton got an oscar nomination out of it I believe.
The film is supposed to be taken as anti-racist. But the director (forget his name) tried to do too much with the film and the anti-racist message backfired. The black and white scenes of Derek dominate the movie.
In the end Derek loses both his father and his younger brother to black thugs and cries out: "what have I done" or something like that. The line is completely ridiculous in the context of his younger brother's murder.

You're absolutely right. That movie "racially awakened" more White people than anything else. It spoke to every White kid in America who was a "White minority" where lived. I was a textbook example. My high school was like 10% White at MOST, and my friends and I, every now and then, had "altercations" with blacks and ricans. The movie only strengthened our relationship with each other through OUR STRUGGLE. It actually empowered us to stick together at all costs, ans fight back with impunity.
I don't know how many of you grew up under the same conditions, but I would assume that at least some of you have. Our situation got so bad at one point, that we almost "lost" our lunch table in the cafeteria to spics. We had to literally brawl with these animals just to protect out territory and get our friggin' lunch table back. We felt like we were in prison. I was like, "What's next? Are these mud people going to try and steal my dessert off my lunch tray?". It was insane. As usual, the school authorities lookedthe other way and did nothing to help us. Surprise surprise.
So, we continued to take it upon ourselves, and I'm glad we did.

I only saw the first half of the movie, I had to go somewhere so I turned it off after Derek was busted for killing the black guy after smashing his teeth on the curb. Someone told me about the second half and the "conversion" so I never watched it. The first half was one of Hollywood's finest moments. I'm sure the second hapf was one of the cultural marxist's finest moments.

After work last night, I was unwinding and caught the first part of American History X. While the plot ultimately attempted the whole PC, diversity as the underlying theme, I think the Derek character indeed many valid points. Did anyone notice how Derek gives that logical speech to the skinheads (before they ransack that Korean's store) he makes sound, valid points on the illegal invasion....and then (of course) they viciously attack the Korean's store & all the poor "undocumented immigrants" therewithin. This is standard operating procedure for the Globalist Elite's "Sheepletainment" industry and "mainstream" media. By this, they always like to take any Conservative/Nationalist/Constitutionalist sound, logical position (like defending our borders & sovereignty) and tie it in with criminal, vicious activity (whether legitimate or provacatuered). This way, they can discredit anyone who stands against their open-borders, North American Union, etc. as "one of those criminal, extremist elements". The Globalist love using this effective technique (on many fronts), that's why they utilize agent provacatuers/plants/moles so much. This is also why they also love non-provactuered acts of violence...so they can leverage these "senseless" acts to advanced their agenda (i.e. - making anyone who doesn't accept politically correct, quasi-socialist ideas is on the same level as the "criminal extremists"). That's why I encourage fellow American Nationalist/Constitutionalist/Paleo-Conservatives to always think things through and act rationally and controlled. The Globalist will take advantage of a "hair-trigger" temper, reactionary mentality to advance their agenda (every time)!
