If we ever hear a Puerto Rican talking like that, we'll KNOW something is
up!

There's an interesting story in the British media. WBC and WBA cruiserweight titleholder David Haye was very critical of the referee, and said Hatton would have had a good chance of winning if he had been permitted to fight on the inside! So there you go, Werewolf - you're being supported by a black man. He said Cortez was doing it because of a unfair, preconceived negative image he had about Hatton being a dirty fighter (Hatton had actually never been deducted a point before in his professional career, so this "dirty fighter" label had been created by the media).
johnnyboy said:i just saw a replay of the fight. its now clear that the ref was "bent". he over-refereed for the first half of the fight, and this lead directly to the judges giving rounds to mayweather even though he was clearly the inferior boxer. like for example. the one round where mayweather hit hatton in the eye and opened up a cut. theres no way mayweather should of gotten credit for opening that cut. after all, maybe he didnt cut hatton, maybe hatton just started bleeding. maybe he has stigmata and it didnt show up in the pre-fight physical. i agree with doghouseboxing.com, that round should have gone to hatton. its clear he was "the aggressor". the replay clearly shows his eye "agrressively" hitting floyd's fist. not a bad strategy considering floyds history of hand injuries. but the crooked jews...uh..i mean judges gave the round to mayweather. goddamn them!!!!
just kidding guys!! in all seriousness, hattons chances would have been significantly improved if the ref would have allowed him to fight on the inside.......and by "fight on the inside", i mean. hit mayweather with a bat.
does anyone know if Jason Litzau is still fighting? i think thats his name. i saw him on an espn fight years ago, and he looked good but i havent seen the guy recently. is he still boxing? has anyon seen one of his fights recently?
cheers & merry christmas to all..except Joe Cortez

Wow, you're throwing the troll word around a bit liberally. I'm
responding to the nature of the post title, which says "a picture is
worth a thousand words."
Perhaps the title should be changed to "a picture is worth a thousand
words but none of them absolute.
The connotation is very clear -- that the referee and fighter were in
league with each other.
Possible, though unlikely.
I simply stated that the picture doesn't support this suggestion, let
alone prove it.
