Since 2005, Washington started 6, 8, 9, 8, 8, 6, 5, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 8, 10, 8, 4, 3 and 5 white players, excluding 2014 where no write-up was done. 9 this year.
A couple of interesting players. Two young ones stand out. True sophomore Decker Degraaf who has played so well in the offseason it is almost impossible for them to keep him off the field over a returning starter, and true freshman LG John Mills, a San Francisco-native who beat out a poly for the very rare true freshman starting OL. Snow plow OL this year in Seattle.
Defense features veteran DE Zach Durfee and Jacob Lane stopping opposite him. Safety Alex McLaughlin comes in from NAU.
Offense -
TE - Decker Degraaf *or
LT - Carver Willis
LG - John Mills
OC - Landen Hatchett
RG - Geirean Hatchett
RT - Drew Azzopardi
Defense -
DE - Zach Durfee
DE - Jacob Lane
S - Alex McLaughlin
