2025 Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Since 2010 Wake Forest has started 7,10,11, 10, 10, 8, 7,7, 6, 7, 6, 6, 7, 6, and 8 white athletes. This season they regress to a dismal 6. Only 2 on offense.
With WR Taylor Morin gone to the Eagles as a free agent, there's not much to discuss on the offensive side of the ball for the Deacons. Two OL and second string RB Tate Carney. Carney rushed for 339 yards/4.1 YPC and 6 TD's as a RS Soph. Hopefully he'll get more reps this season and finally earn the starting roll next season as a RS Sr. Look for Montana/Washington transfer Sawyer Racanelli to get some reps at WR. Also, 6'6 250lb. TE Dominic Deluca RS FR, could see action in 2025. He will definitely become the Deacons starter in the coming seasons.
Defensively it gets a little better with the Deacs starting 4, I think. Not sure what heritage DT Zach Lohavichan is. Armenian possibly. Also, CSU transfer Gabe Kirschke will start at DE. Tough Texas native Dylan Hazan will start a MLB, and Nick Andersen will be the starter at FS. Making Wake Forest's defense watchable.

Good defense and always interesting when a RB is in the rotation! However, no White QBs in the 2-deep? Yuck.
