Since 2005 Thundering Herd have started 5, 7, 5, 5, 4, 6, 5, 4, 6, 6, 6, 7, 6, 4 ,6, 5, 5, and 5 whites making them one of the teams with the most "caste" makeup in the 5-7 range over the last 15 years. Expect a record tying low of 4 with a potential of plunging down to the caste depths of 2.

Only 4 this season for Thundering turd. 4/5 black QBs..

The Blundering Turd once again impose extreme discrimination against the overwhelming White populace of the state of West Virginia. 89-93% White depending on how you measure, yet only 18% White starters. And the blacks they recruit are scrapping the barrel talent wise since they can’t compete with larger programs. Like so many other programs, a total mess and representative of Amerika 2.0

Bucky, last year I watched Marshall play @ Ohio State week three? Weird team. They fielded an almost completely black team, but began the season with an athletic, white starting quarterback (Stone Earle) and a white starting running back (Ethan Payne) getting significant carries. ... This was extra weird, considering they had a very black coaching staff. But, by season's end, all the key whites were benched. This team had so many in the Transfer Portal, that they couldn't accept a invitation to a scrub Bowl game.

Approximately 3.3% of West Virginia's population is Black or African American.

Freethinker is correct. Marshall is scrapping at the bottom of the barrel, competing with bottom 34 to 35 FBS schools for black talent. Large chunk of their roster is probably FCS (1-AA) and D-II caliber blacks, gifted scholarships due to their race. Team is a train wreck. Only states with less blacks are both Dakota's, according to quick search. My guess is the top (4) Dakota teams, as well as Montana and Montana State, could kick Marshall's @ss.

P.S: One positive, is the black head coach last season moved to traditionally all black Southern Miss. So who ever inherited the team, has a lot of "leftovers", as well as "quick fix" transfer portal blacks, who go from school, without regard to getting an education or school loyalty. Their top WR last year left for Oklahoma State. 4th college team in six years**.
