From 2006 to 2012, New Mexico State started 10, 12, 12, 7, 5, 4, and 6 white players. No write-ups were done in 2013 or 2014. Since 2015, they have started 4, 4, 6, 6 and 6. NMSU sat out the 2020 season. In 2021 they started 5, and in 2022, they are starting just 2.
The Aggies have a Mexican quarterback, which is a bit of a novelty. Head coach Jerry Kill, previously from Minnesota, doesn't give us much to cheer for.
