Since 2013 Arizona has started 8, 7, 7, 7, 9, 8, 7, 7, and 4 whites. Up to 6 this year. Grant Gunnell transferred to Memphis as first year HC Jedd Fisch takes over. It sounds like Gunner Cruz and Will Plummer have moved ahead in the QB battle, ensuring that Arizona should have a young white QB this year. DT Aaron Blackwell, a transfer from New Mexico, came on as a starter at the end of last year and should continue that role. Northwestern transfer Gunner Maldonado has been getting a lot of hype at safety and might eventually become a starter.
