Since 2005, SMU has started 8, 8, 11, 10, 10, 10, 10, 9, 9, 9, 10, 5, and 8 White players. Look for them to start 7 this year (QB, TE, LB, 4 OL - perhaps the epitome of a classically average Caste team).
Ben Hicks returns as the starting QB, but with Trey Quinn graduated to the NFL the WR corps looks a lot darker. Tyler Page is the second-string slot receiver. The O-line is heavy on blue-collar lunch pail carriers but there's not much else this team has to offer. Aside from starting linebacker Trevor Denbow there are no other palefaces on the defensive two-deep.
