Since 2005 they have started 11,5,4,7,9,5,2,4,5,4,5,8 with no write up in 2014. This year they are projected to have 5 white starters. Butch Davis is in his second season in the fertile recruiting ground for the caste system in Miami. Incoming QB James Morgan will be in a battle so the starters could be lower. CJ is a transfer from Florida. He was highly touted out of high school, but never got a chance. When he initially transferred to FIU he was a walk-on and Davis put him on scholarship in the spring. Maloney returns after catching 21 balls for 301 yards last season.
