Since 2006, Texas Tech has started 7, 9, 8, 10, 7, 8, and 5 white starters. This year is even bleaker with only 4 whites projected to start under 2nd year head coach Kliff Kingsbury. A few backup receivers who might see time are Brent Mitcham and Jordan Davis

I don't know if he'll be eligible this year, but 5 star LB and one of the top SPARQ performers off all time Mike Mitchell transferred to TTU. He was projected to be a starter at Ohio State but family illness made him relocate closer to home.
