Despite being a well ranked and prestigious university, the radical UC Berkeley goes to great strives in recruiting players that almost always fail to meet academic standards of the university. As a result, the Golden Bears continuously feature a much darker team than should be expected. Since 2005, they have started 7, 7, 11, 6, 8, 9, 6, and 5 whites. Coming off a horrible 2013 season under head coach Sonny Dykes, Cal will start 8 whites, 9 on formations using a full back.
Offense -
QB - Jared Goff
FB - Lucus Gingold (when they use one)
LT - Steven Moore
C - Chris Ad****
RG - Alejandro Crosthwaite
RT - Jordan Rigsbee
Defense -
DE - Kyle Kragen
DT - Harrison Wilfley
LB - Nathan Bruoussard
Notable back ups who will likely see playing time this year include QB Austin Hinder, LT Brian Farley, C Matt Cochran, RT Dominic Granado, DT Trevor Kelly, and S Griffin Piatt.
