I don't know how much I'll be able to watch but this event is almost always great theater. Just watched today's highlights so far and the U.S. is up to 4-2 with several afternoon matches still underway.

The pairing of Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson really lit it up today, especially Bradley, who continues to fortify his reputation as a rising young star who is very clutch.

Tiger Woods was the weakest player on either team in the morning matches and his usual pairing with Steve Stricker lost, and is down by 1 in the late stages of his afternoon match.

I don't care which team wins, I enjoy the tension and pressure of it, the screaming galleries, and the celebration afterward by the winning team. My only hope is that there aren't too many idiot DWFs shouting "USA USA USA!!!" and cheering when the Europeans miss shots.

The U.S. continues to dominate, currently up 8 to 4 and leading 3 of the 4 afternoon matches.

However, Tiger Woods, the (scowling) "face of golf," continues to play poorly. He and Steve Stricker are 0-2 and are the only U.S. team currently behind in the afternoon matches. Go Tiger, go! :arms:

Tiger's now two shots down against Molinari. Good thing the US team isn't depending on him.

They may need Woods. Europe is making it tight and Woods is in the last match of the day.

Three Americans have lost 17 and 18 so far on their home course to lose singles matches, Europe just took the lead and only needs one point to successfully defend.

Wow, it comes down to Stricker and Woods, who have zero points between them so far!

Martin Kaymer just won it for Europe. Tremendous comeback, one of the all-time best, by the all-White Euros on American soil. Stricker and Woods lead the Americans to defeat. I didn't watch a lot of it, but Ian Poulter was simply incredible yesterday, as he seemingly always is in this competition, sparking his team.

Yes, Poulter seemed to inspire the rest of them. He was like a team leader.
