Florida International has started 11, 5, 4, 7, 9, 5 and 2 Whites since '05. They will probably bounce back up to 4 for the upcoming season. The few Whites on the 2 deep include WR Richard Burrows, TE Zach Schaubhut, and LT David Istanich.

white is right, you should know the answer to that, mate. You've been around here a long time. Even so, a quick search on DuckDuckGo would get you the answer. FIU was an FCS Independent from '02-'04, then they jumped into the FBS Sun Belt Conference in '05. They will join Conference USA in '13. Their original coach, Don Strock, resigned shortly after his team's brawl against the Miami Hurricanes in '06.

They've definitely been a pro-caste team in terms of recruiting and playing since the program first started. Being a team born during the caste era, they never had the benefit of being an all (or even mostly) White program.
