some of the good performances worth mentioning:

Runningbacks:

Brian Leonard, RB Rams: 5 carries for 12 yards, Pittman and Minor did a little better with similar number of carries, although Minor played against scrubs.

Owen Schmitt, FB Seahawks: 1 carry for 2, 2 catches for 35 yards

Jacob Hester, RB Chargers: his first NFL TD on his second NFL carry! other than that he was a bruising yet nimble presence in their backfield, had 13 carries for 49 yards and 2 TDs.

Make it two touchdowns for Hester. He also had a 27 yard run and a nice reception and run, eluding would-be tacklers on both.

David Anderson had a sweet TDreception and some nice runs after other catches.

the stats can be misleading, just watched some of the rams game, leonard on the first drive did horrible because his line was doing horrible and wound up getting negative yardage, cant prove anything when the defense is already in the backfield, and then the next drive the line was more in sync and he got a carry for 4 yards and then one for 11 yards

Brian has took a beating on some sites i frequent and i told them all hard to run with the defense in your face before you have the ball.

Lets hope the rams line is better and Brian gets a chance to carry the ball again

Carolina LB Adam Seward had an interception and looked impressive.

#57 Dan Connor was explosive and MEAN! He knows what he has to do.

Don't forget to watch Jordy Nelson tonight on Monday Night Football. The Packers play the Bengals. Hopefully he will get alot of playing time. I think that if he can eventually crack the starting lineup, he will be a future pro bowl player for years to come assuming that the quarterback play is up to par. Jordy Nelson had over 1600 yards receivng last year in college. The 2nd most in the nation. He is incredible and hopefully he will get to play unlike Hass who should have been a star by now.

Jones i have read is far ahead of Jordy as the number 3 receiver. He just made a nice tough grab and run after the catch for a td. Jordy should take over the number 4 spot from martin soon though.

yeah it was a very nice TD for Jones.

Jordy just caught his first pass for 22 yards!

Johnny Quinn also made an appearance, let's see if he gets some more attention in the second half

Brett Swain has 2 catches so far as well. Edited by: backrow
