I wanted to list the likely white starters for a few highly ranked white-friendly FCS programs. I'm starting with Montana, which is ranked in the top 5 in the majority of publications I've looked at.

Offense

QB Cole Bergquist

H-Back Kevin Klaboe-when they use one

TE Dan Beaudin or Steven Pfahler

WR Mike Ferriter

WR Marc Mariani

WR Rob Schulte

LT Chris Dyk

LG J.D. Quinn

C Colin Dow

RG Terran Hillesland

RT Brent Russum

Defense

DE Jace Palmer

DT Paul LaMantia

DT Craig Mettler

DE Mike Stadnyk

MLB Tyler Corwin

SLB Shawn Lebsock

WLB Tom Bauer-in a fight for the position

SS Colt Anderson

FS Shann Schillinger

LOL.

Everyone is white except the corners and tailbacks.

That's how you know something is wrong.

Yep, the only 3 black starters are at the "black only" positions.

Bergquist was described as being "sneaky fast; not electric, not a 4.5 guy."

Chase Reynold's was described as "blue collar" multiple times.

I really enjoyed watching Montana play tonight in the 1-AA semifinals against James Madison. Nice play all around by their many white standouts, including QB Bergquist and RB Reynolds going over 100 yards. I did get sick and tired of the announcers continually describing JMU's black starting QB as "superman," though.

Deadlift: I see we are on the same page. I've been very impressed with Bergquist's play-including his athleticism-and Chase Reynolds shows good speed and power. He is the best RB on the field tonight.

Reynold's clearly looks athletic and he has some "moves." An excellent combination of speed and power.

Receiver Marc Mariani has looked good.

Great job by Montana! They will play the winner of Richmond and Northern Iowa for the FCS championship.

I was getting worried the ACC "officiating" crew overturned 2 crucial plays in favor of JM. In a national semi-final FCS game it is slightly "unusual" to overturn 2 potentially game deciding plays .Montana showed their obvious skill under pressure. They looked like they had at least several players who would be NFL prospects if they didn't suffer from "Melanin deficiency syndrome".

I believe Reynolds was the starting RB against James
Madison last night?

Yes, Chase has been their starting RB this year. He is currently ranked 7th in the FCS in rushing yardage with 1,536.

Colonel Reb: I don't know how many times you've seen Chase Reynolds play, but off of what I saw last night, he's the real deal.

I liked the acceleration through the holes, the cuts, and the power to finish off runs and punish defenders. Now whether he gets a chance at the next level or not....

Any thoughts?Edited by: Van_Slyke_CF
