to re-focus on “Tickets,” (my nickname for Clark), she led the Fever to their 4th straight win last night. it was their fourth consecutive 100+-point game (a WNBA record). additionally, they have scored 100 or more points 12 times this season, setting another league record (and we’re still in...

Cavan Sullivan is the youngest player in MLS history, and he has already booked a contract to go play for Man City when he turns 18 (he’s currently 16 as of this posting). he currently plays for Philadelphia Union.

there’s another VIVID example in the WNBA this season of a White athlete getting screwed for the usual reasons. Jessica Shepard, a post player for the Dallas Wings, was stuck coming off the bench for nearly all of her 5 seasons in Minnesota. but now with a new team, she’s finally getting a...

Clark appears to be finally getting healthy again, as she’s once again moving with the suddenness that is part of her explosive talent on the hardwood. last night she led the Fever to 2 new franchise records: most points in a half (70) and most points in a game (123) in a dominant win. Clark...

it was actually even better than that … Clark finished with 45 points and 10 assists in the comeback win. and she did it while playing on a minutes restriction due to injury! here are the records she set in the game: * 1st WNBA player with 40 pts, 10 assists in game * 1st player to score 45+...

here’s an in-depth video of Kusturica’s game:

unfortunately for our guys, the import wins (as i picked). that being said, it was an EXCELLENT race by our youngsters, as 3 finalists set new national u18 records and another ran a personal best! my only disappointment was that Nemcek didn’t run as fast as i was hoping after his first round...

(should we move talk of the European u18s to the high school thread?) in the semis of the u18 100m, De Las Heras looked terrific! he set a new Spanish national u18 record of 10.39. in the same heat, Nemcek ran a 10.45 to easily advance. the “french” Nigerian looks to be the one to beat...

there’s a 16-year-old “british” sprinter who also looked very good in his heat and is likely one of the favorites. so, why the quotation marks? both his parents are Nigerians who competed internationally for Nigeria, yet the son is “british.” weird, huh? in the final heat, a young Norwegian...

Nemcek looked VERY relaxed, despite that time being a new personal-best by about .08 seconds (and a new national u-18 record, as well). and he did so way out in Lane 8. additionally, in that same heat, a Spaniard named Francisco De Las Heras also ran a new pb, 10.47. both of those young...

for lack of words, i’ll allow the headline to speak for itself: Paige Bueckers bemoans WNBA's lack of Black women head coaches in typical liberal White woman illogical, self-loathing fashion, Bueckers (who is a phenomenal basketball talent) apparently doesn’t appreciate the irony of her own...

i think this is actually the case, but i could be mistaken.

he had everyone chasing him from what i understand, but apparently the big money came out West. i hope it works out for him …

hate that he’s playing for a Grade-A a-hole in Cronin, UCLA’s head coach. on the bright side, he’ll get massive exposure playing for such a high profile team.

Argentina were the FAR better side in their match, dominating the ball and scoring opportunities throughout. i’m VERY happy they prevailed with their historic comeback. all that being said, Egypt’s keeper was on another level. SUPREME performance by him, giving his team the chance for the upset.

hopefully this legend will never be forgotten! not only an incredible athlete, but he was also an impressive human being. his mental fortitude is almost as legendary as his leaping ability.

i don’t think i’ve seen this young man mentioned (if he has, and i missed it, i apologize). don’t know why he’d choose to play at Alabama, but …

i wonder how this will impact her “miracle weight loss drug” endorsement campaign …

in honor of these liars (and as tribute to Serena Williams), maybe there should be an “Alyssa Thomas wahh wahh !” thread, too? LOL.

this cat, er Duck, might make a good db …

where do these guys keep coming from?! don't they “know” White men can’t jump?!?

Lutmer, Bennee, and Perich are “safeties” only because A) they’re White, and B) because they’re so intelligent/instinctive/physical that they are capable of playing multiple positions. their true position is clearly at corner, but since it’s so hard to find smart safeties these days (i wonder...
