Victoria Cameron ran her first 200m of the outdoor season and won in 23.05 with no wind. A very good time, but it seems she is more of a 100m sprinter.

    Matthew Boling 9.98, 19.92, 44.84 and 8.25 LJ

The results are incomplete, so I can't be sure, but it looks like Boling split 49.05 on the anchor leg. That's actually terrible.

Boling is on the start list for the 200m today at the Tom Jones Memorial track meet in Florida. Will be interesting to see how he does. I thought he was sliding toward retirement. Or maybe he is just there to pick up an appearance fee paycheck...? We shall see.

    Forgotten White Athletes?

This is a video about Phil Shinnick, a long jumper who jumped a world record in 1963 that was never recognized because the officials forgot to turn on the wind gauge. However, in 2021, after 58 years, his record jump was finally recognized. Very interesting!

I'm pretty sure it's accurate since there was no women's collegiate track until 1969, and women's NCAA track didn't start until 1982. I don't think any white guy has been the NCAA 100 leader since 1982, although there may have been a woman or two (Jenna Prandini and Hannah Cunliffe for example)...
