Okay!! Here is something to take note of... Keegan Hicks of Texas, ran his first ever 100m in 10.14 seconds!! No wind indicated, but even if wind aided, it's a great time. And even greater considering it's first 100m ever. More here:

Victoria Cameron ran a blazing 7.09 in the 60m heats of the WAC Championships. That's the 2nd fastest time in the NCAA this season. Let's see if she has more in the final. p.s. Her teammate Lauren Roy had the 2nd fastest time of the day, 7.19.

Some good news....former high school sensation Mia Brahe Pedersen, seems to be over the injuries that plagued her the last 2 seasons. Today, she was the fastest 200m qualifier at the Big 10 Championships with a time of 23.03. Let's hope she continues to improve and gets back on the trajectory...

Also today, Hristo Iliev of Bulgaria ran 6.53 and in the same race, Anej Curin Prapotnik of Slovenia came in 2nd in 6.57. At the same meet, Bozhidor Saraboyukov jumped 8.42(!) to defeat Tentoglou, 8.14.

She did it! 1:54.87 Broke the previous indoor WR by almost a full second. Super impressive!

Palermo's time is #3 in the NCAA, and Devyn Wright of Arkansas is #4 with a time of 45.38.

Jaydon Fourie just turned 17 in January, and just ran 10.38 (0.1) and 20.99 (-0.1) last week.

An interesting result from this weekend: Peyton Bair, a decathlete at Oregon, and brother of HS sprint sensation, Gaitlin Bair, ran 6.61 60m, coming in a close 3rd at the Don Kirby meet in Albuquerque. The time is altitude assisted, but it's noteworthy that he ran against and beat top sprinters...

At the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson, Trey Cunningham ran an amazing 7.37 in the 60m hurdles. That's #7 all-time! Chance Cross of Kennesaw State ran 6.54 in the 60m. It was the fastest time of the day, beating some big guns from the SEC and other conferences.

Sophomore, Jake Palermo of Penn State, won the University 400m race at the Tyson Invitational, with a great time of 45.33.

It's a long video because of all the false starts. Go to the last minute or so, to see the actual race.

Just watched the race online. There were 4 false starts. So the race wasn't run until the 5th try! I have to think that affected everyone's performance.

Some great results in Serbia today. Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria jumped a World Leading 8.45m. Amy Hunt equalled her PB in the 60m with a time of 7.09. Dominik Illovszky of Hungary won the 60m in 6.52. Jakub Szymanski of Poland won the 60m hurdles in a great time of 6.43.

Michael Maguire, 15 yrs old from Great Britain, jumped an incredible 7.69m to break the British U17 indoor record. That jump also makes him the World U18 leader. Again, he's only 15 years old.

Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria, jumped an =World Leading Long Jump, of 8.39m today in France.

I think he should get out of LA. Between Luka, Lebron, and Austin Reeves, there's really no room for him to showcase his talents.
