Domenic Kopek ran 10.18 and then 10.15 (0.1w) in Finland today. On his good days, like today, he's very good. But unfortunately, he's wildly inconsistent.

Delaney Brinker had a fantastic meet at the Missouri Class 5 State T&F Championships this year. She came 2nd in the 100m, and 1st in the 200m and 400m. Her best times this year were: 11.74, 23.68, and 53.10. She will be running track next year at Kansas State.

Coby Hilton wins the race in 10.30. Seems he may have had a slight hamstring pull afterwards. Meanwhile Jack Hale raced in Spain and came 5th in 10.45.

Towa Uzawa of Japan won the Japanese Championships Men's 200 final in 20.12, equaling his PB from the Asian Championships.

Peyton is transferring to Oregon for his senior season. He will be joining his brother Gatlin, who starts his collegiate football career in 2026. I hope Peyton can get his brother to run track.

Rohan Browning ran 10.16 (1.7w) at another meet in France today.

22 year old Minke Bisschops of the Netherlands, had a very good outing this weekend. She ran a wind-aided 11.89 (3.2w) and a wind legal 22.39 (1.1w). Her 200m time puts her 3rd on the all-time Dutch list.

He's run a few times this year, but the times were not worth mentioning. Have no idea what's going on with him, but he has not been even close to being the same sprinter he was a few years ago.

Yannick Wolf runs 10.16 (1.3w) for the win in Spain. Elian Larregina of Argentina won the 400m in 44.99.

Koekmoer came 2nd in the 400m at Nancy, running well and finishing in 45.10. Definitely an emerging talent. Edoardo Scotti of Italy was 3rd in 45.27, and Jonathan Secoor of Belgium, 3rd, in 45.32.

Meanwhile, Rohan Browning ran 10.17 (1.2w) in Nancy, France today. Louie Hinchliffe was better, taking 3rd in 10.08.

He also won the 400m at that Junior Gala meet, in a meeting record time of 45.41.

A new name for you - 18 year old Leendert Koekmoer of South Africa. He won the Bauhaus Junior Gala 200m this past weekend, with a meeting record, 20.34. He also has run 45.03 in the 400m and 10.50 (-1.0) in the 100m this year. Let's keep an eye on him. Here is his dominant performance:

In division 2 of the European Team Championships, Alexander Doom won the 400m with a SB time of 44.66. Rok Ferlan of Slovenia was 2nd in a NR 44.70. Mihai Dringo of Romania was 3rd in a NR of 44.74. Jack Rafferty of Ireland was 4th in a PB of 44.98. 400m and 800m times have really improved...

Oliwer Wdowik of Poland ran 10.10 (0.1w) to win his heat at the European Team Championships. In the other heat, Henrik Larsson came 3rd in 10.11 (0.0w). On the women's side, Boglarka Takacs of Hungary won the 100m in a championship record of 11.06 (0.0). Ewa Swoboda of Poland was 2nd in 11.13.

Yes, mentioned above. He finished behind Browning who ran 10.06. That's why I said Browning's time was a bit disappointing. Hansen has been running wind legal times around 10.14, so I would have expected Browning to have been a full tenth ahead of him.

A guy I've never heard of, 23 yr old Mihai Dringo of Romania, won the 400m race today in Geneva, Switzerland, with a NR time of 44.88!
