Early in the 4th quarter Richardson overthrew someone doing a sideline route while Pierce was wide open for what would have been a long TD. Nice that Pierce made that money TD catch at the end of the game. He needs to show that he's not just a long ball specialist.

It looks like Pierce has taken a step forward in his career after two so-so seasons. I think he's justifying his high (especially for a paleface) draft status. He's also been mixing some shorter routes into his production. And gaining some confidence.
