Rogers overthrows Scotty Miller. "First time he's been targeted all year."
I'm surprised Miller has stuck around so long.
At least he's made enough rosters to qualify for a pension.
Damn. He always seemed so full of energy in and out of the ring.
Curious to see the cause of death. He ballooned in weight between fights. Struck me as a cockney type. Very tough and busy style. He wasn't hard to find in a fight.
Ricky done right well in his career. RIP
Alvarez seems to be an underrated boxer overrated puncher. Crawford visa versa maybe. His dismantlement of Spencer still impresses me. But he is at the age where he will get hit more. Ambrose's point to Crawford's welterweight heart having to serve more muscle is a good one if the fight goes...
I wasn't aware that he was a hiker who loved the outdoors. I pictured him as some Mike Royko looking guy who seldom saw the sun.
Maybe because he was from back east?
Anyway, as I've learned over the years, people come and people go.
I would wonder about Werewolf from time to time. He was a bit of a rascal and I didn't always agree with his approach to things but he was a memorable character.
Here's a nugget that caught my eye. RB Ashton Jeanty for Las Vegas nee Oakland, toted the rock 19 times for 38 yards for a 2.0 yard average. He did rip off a 9 yarder at one point.
A 6th overall draft pick.
Too early to put on Bust Watch?
Good for Campbell. I was concerned about him. He doesn't have the minimum 33 inch arm length. Only 32 and 7/8. But he's not cursed with boring feet so that's a big plus.
Nice little shove block by McConkey on a short pass. The K.C. defender looked in position to tackle but McConkey made that nifty little block to help get another ten plus yards. Very heady play.
For some reason the play brought Hunter Renfrow to mind with his high football IQ.
Been a rough read going over the cuts. But as always there will be movement on the bubble. Guys who made it will be cut when someone thought of as better become available.
We'll see what happens in the next few days.
It has been noted on this site numerous times that very often charges against NFL players tend to magically disappear. Money power and influence can really help a guy who "messed up."
Is it for the peasant fans to question?
I hope if Jones does get the job he can establish a connection with Pierce so Alex can add to his success of last year and really nail down his position in the WR hierarchy.
