    White RBs 2008

Goebel had a good game though. He had a long scamper for 37 yds that would have ended in a TD if he didn't start to trip on the wet turf. He however put it into the endzone on the next play and ended the game with close to 100 yds.

Yup. there is a definate trend towards a darker football in Europe. Everyone seems to be getting on that bandwagon.

    White WRs 2008

I agree WL, personallly, I think he's the most dominant WR at the moment(#1 receiving yds, top 5 in TDs and receptions), but I've heard no big mention by the main media, while they are throwing out lots of love for Crabtree and Dez Bryant.

    FB: Colin Mooney, Army

With his performance yesturday, Mooney climbed to the #6 spot in NCAA rushing leaders. Too bad the team isn't doing to well, but what an accomplishment. Over 1,000 yards already!

The Netherlands Joins The African Union

I agree with you Europe that more leagues should adopt some sort of plan for fielding teams consisting of mostly domestic players. I know that in the J-league, there is a three foreigner rule, and I think that is about right. Not only does it give the primary audience members a sense of common...

    2010 World Cup qualifying

I really don't understand this country's obsession for wanting a completely diverse team. 2/3 blacks out of a starting 11 is proportionally representative of the countries population. Just as it is in baseball, if they aren't interested, fine, why force the issue? I agree that Bradley probably...

    Sam McGuffie

no, they didn't make one mention of it on the tv coverage. It's a shame too, because McGuffie got the ball for the second time in a row and responded with a 9 yd gain. I think if he didn't get injured he would have started to see more of the carries.

    Sam McGuffie

Thats very positive thinking psychosid. When the season started, I expected Sam to get around 1/3 to 1/4 of the carries and not be the feature back until his junior year. I think most on this board will also admit that they didn't expect for Sam to be getting 20+ carries a game his freshman...

    White RBs 2008

In the end, we had 6! white RBs gaining over 100 yards. Mooney (229!), McGuffie (105), Sharp (118), Gerhart (116), Lawson (106), and Dold (115). How amazing! It has to be the best weekend performance in a long long time.

    White WRs 2008

those four listed by backrow is a great place to start. decker had another monster game today. austin collie is the guy im focused on the most. hes a jr so probably wont go pro after this season, but the way hes playing this year coupled with the fact that byu is a top 10 team makes him astrong...

    Sam McGuffie

yes, hester was an amazing player, and as of right now, his NFL career isn't looking so great. however, hester had more of the body and playing style of an athletic fullback in college. although he has a great burst and good speed, his main usage was between the tackles, one cut, and knock over...

    2010 World Cup qualifying

I didnt get to see the game, but from what ive heard, its a good result. hopefully players like dempsey, donovan, and bradley realize that there is a lot of weight resting on their shoulders and embrace the reality that the team will only be as good as how they play. donovan has a side of him...

    Brock Bolen

he split time with two other backs. none of them did well, as was the case with the whole offense. just an absolutely horrid performance by the cards O.

    Sam McGuffie

I think Sam is in a good position after this game. although his stats werent great, he really couldnt have done anything else with the poor blocking his line was doing, and the inexperience of the whole offense in the new spread scheme. what pleased me though, is that when michigan entered the...

    White RBs 2008

Wow, good pick up WP. James Casey did play, and had a very good game! 9 rushes for 47 yards and a TD, 6 for 53 receiving and a TD definately someone that i'll be keeping an eye on. Edited by: blue_mentos

    White RBs 2008

Collin Mooney from Army runs for a game high 81 yards tonight off 26 carries against Temple. Its not even Saturday and a good number of white runners are getting their fair share of carries. I'm impressed.

Argentina defeats Nigeria in the finals 1-0.. I was watching the game on CNBC, and the supporting announcer was absolutely horrid. He seemed to criticize every mishap for Argentina and was talking the whole game about how Nigeria was outplaying them. Even on the half-time highlights, when they...

    2008 Purdue Boilermakers

jaycen taylor, a part of the duo along with korey sheets that primarily split carries in the backfield, suffered a major leg injury today at practice. he is potentially out for the season, and this will likely transfer into more runs for dierking. i always hate to see bad things happen like...

White RB 2008 Watch List! I'm Optimistic!

so im just curious, what do you guys think of someone like ian johnson? he has to be at least 75% white, and both his parents look very white. i know the media labels him as black, but do you guys root for him over the next black RB?

The Netherlands Joins The African Union

The olympics or any youth tournament for that matter isn't really the best indication of how the senior team will turn out. i have hope in the netherlands, as their best players have almost always been (and as of right now are) white. nigeria is a good example of how many of these players...

    Olympics

well, very very heartbreaking performance by the USA. they really should have won the match against the netherlands, and it was an unlucky break for orozco to pick up the red card in the 10th minute against nigeria, and yet they still played strong to the end of the match. nowak got the team...

    Pat Hinkel

yea, it was jones. it sucks that he only got one year to carry the ball, but hopefully Miami will have it fresh in their memory that its not all that bad to have a white kid playing rb and will look more fairly upon Hinkel when he comes to campus.

    Pat Hinkel

wow, a 10.4 certainly is very fast. when i first saw him play, i was amazed at his speed, but when i checked his profile it claims he runs a forty in the mid 4.5s. this is the same case with chad hall, however, when they come off the line and make that first cut, its hard to find many players...
