    Colorado State - Navy

How enjoyable was it to sit back and watch quality white running backs like Bell and Ballard. GENERALLY speaking, white backs' running style is more slash and straight line oriented, without so much juking. I believe this running style of most white backs works against them. Because most black...

    commercial about soldiers

Another thought - consider how much of what black consumers spend results from their creating their own wealth, not the result of some type of government handout or redistributed wealth.

    commercial about soldiers

White Shogun, maybe you would have a point if advertising were the ONLY area where we seem to be inundated with diversity. However, we also find it everywhere in popular culture ( TV, movies, music, magazines ), in education, in government, and the workplace. This is much more than mere...

    Baseball Bat Attack

The show Law and Order does the same. The stories are based on real crime files. But, what they don't tell us is how often they change the race of the perp to white.

    commercial about soldiers

I just viewed the commercial and their is certainly inordinate attention paid to blacks and females. All of the 4 or 5 closeups and longer in duration shots are of blacks and females. And, it is from Anheiser-Busch. Remember this next time your sucking down a Bud.

If I'm not mistaken, this spot was sponsored by Anheiser-Busch.

Alex Knipp - Amherst HS (Ohio)

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Knipp has orally committed to attend Ball State (Mid-American Conference). According to the report, Knipp is slatedto be adb/kick returner. Its unfortunate that after gaining over 4000 yards (my initial stat figures were a bit off) and scoring nearly 60...

That is hilarious! I watched it 4 times and each time is funnier.

    rb-nick hartigan

It's not uncommon for a D1 team to schedule a D1AAopponent early in the season as a non-conference foe. For example, Northern Iowa (6 white defensive starters), still alive in the D1AA playoffs, lost to the University of Iowa 45-21 back in September. Incidentally,ESPN2 will televise the Northern...

    Garrett Mills

Mills caught 4 passes for 88 yards in Tulsa's win on Saturday. He finished the regular season with 75 receptions for over 1000 yards. Tulsa finished at 7-4 and bowl eligible, so hopefully we'll get an opportunity to watch Mills in a bowl game.

    rb-tre smith

I caught bits and pieces of Saturday's game just checking to see if Smith was getting any playing time. One of the broadcasters happened to mention Smith's stellar performance against 'Bama as a freshman, and then there followed a short but odd silence as if football fans ( and maybe even the...

    Jake Machacek, RB, senior

Jimtavias Machece. That's funny. Maybe a slight spelling change to Jayk, or Jayque would get him a few more looks. Seriously, I bet it would. Anyway, I've noticed that his size is fairly common for a white I-AA or Div II back. He'll probably end up at one of those levels.

    Garrett Mills

Mills is 6'2 232#. After watching some video highlights at tulsahurricane.collegesports.com I was surprised I've never heard of him. He's very athletic and runs like a RB. As a matter of fact, his size is more suitable for RB. Reportedly, he has great hands as evidenced by his 175 receptions...

    Steve Silva RB, Holy Cross

6' 215#. He competes in the 7-team Patriot League on the east coast. Silva is one of the most exciting players in I-AA, ranking first in punt returns and all-purpose yards. He also ranks first in his league in kickoff returns and receptions, second in scoring, and fourth in rushing...

    Heath Evans(White Running Back)

The more I think about how Evans' football career has developed ever since he left hs, the more disgusted I feel. You could argue that he would be justified in being pissed, frustrated, whatever, yet he considers himself "blessed". Thistrait of unselfishness istypical of the white athlete...

    Heath Evans(White Running Back)

Quote from Evans after his release from Miami earlier this month: "...To play 4 1/2 years in the NFL after being a white boy running back from the King's Academy.....who would have thought that was possible?" Heath was a two-time all-state tailback in hs in Fla. Still, at Auburn he totaled...

    Documentary

Wouldn't it be worthwhile for someone to produce a documentary on the plight of the exceptional hs running back? The film could follow the developments, specifically the recruiting process, or the lack thereof, of a single rb, or a group. There is certainly plenty of examples. Included could be...

Alex Knipp - Amherst HS (Ohio)

Update on Knipp: finished regular season with 2008 yds, 27 tds, and an 8 something yds per carry. He ranked second in rushing yardage in northeastern ohio area behind one of the nation's top rb recruits.

    Jeff Samardzija

This may be an exaggeration, but I believe Samardzija is one of the most athletic players in college football. He certainly plays that way- runs precise routes, outstanding coordination and body control, and hands of glue. Samardzija, rather than just catching the ball, makes catches.
