    2008 Olympics 100 Meter Results.

I hate to say it, but the dominance of the Jamaicans arouses my suspicions. They are just too dominant. Back in the 70s and 80s when the East Germans were so dominating i thought it was just because of their great system of athletic development, but we know that PEDs had a lot to do with it...

Wariner is a moron for firing his coach!.

A Olympic silver medal is quite an accomplishment, but JW was a disappointment. I vividly remember him beating Merritt easily with a 43.45--it doesn't seem long ago. And, a 44.70 is not that great of a time. I wonder what went wrong.

    Own interests at heart?

Can you give me an explanation for Jacksonville's James Harris' seeming obsession with black quarterbacks? Can someone do some research and name the white quarterbacks who were passed over by Jacksonville so that they could draft a black quarterback.

    Own interests at heart?

Referendum wrote, " . . .but a good example of unimaginative, go with the flow thinking..." Thanks for the post. I think that you make a VERY valid point here. Just because a person is in a high position doesn't mean that he is the most astute or most knowledgeable. My observation is...

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

It is probably quite upsetting to LaShawn, and blacks in general, to be consistently beaten by a "white boy". The only explanation must be racism, you know what i'm sayin'. It must be that white people are holding the black man down.

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

Hopefully, Wariner will become a 2-time 400 meter Olympic gold medalist. Then, hopefully, the great white sprinter will be seen as more than just a "blip on the radar". That should have the effect of fast Caucasians seeing themselves as able to compete successfully. And, maybe more...

White women dominate World Juniors 800

The photograph speaks for itself: http://www.iaaf.org/WJC08/photo/index.html#45998 Although, to be fair, I believe that there is a teenaged Kenyan girl who is very likely to medal, even win, the 800 meters in the Olympic Games.

    Laura Roesler

This girl has a great future. A 10th grader! And, she sure looks 100% Caucasian to me.: In the 800 qualifying (U.S. Olympic trials), Laura Roesler ND is a very close 4th (2:04.03) in a fast first heat. The sophomore was an auto qualifier for the semifinals, but there were also 3 time...

    Jordan Boase

We've gotten pretty far from the topic of Jordan Boase, but I'd just like to say that I'm sure glad that another inspirational sprinter in the 2000 Olympics, "Marvelous Marion" Jones, is above reproach. LOL Couldn't resist and that's the end of my "trash talking".

Kenteris' win in the 2000 Olympic finals was inspirational, to say the least. I've watched it many times and got goose bumps each time. Now, if only an American Caucasian will win the 100 or 200, like Wariner won the 400! I will love reading the story in SI, Sporting News, ESPN, etc.

    inadvertent elbow waiting to happen

"We never have any doubts in our confidence," said Utah's Andrei Kirilenko, who blocked Bryant twice in overtime and converted a three-point play with 35 seconds remaining to help the Jazz pull away. I sense an "inadvertent" Kobe Bryant elbow to the face of Andrei Kirilenko in the next game.

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

"In the latest article about Wariner, he is predicting that he will break the 400 meter record very soon. He says it will happen this summer and he also states that he cannot be beat. He has already declared himself to be the 400 meter gold medal winner at the olympics." Wariner, a Caucasian...

"And if they were living in another state besides Utah, their coaches probably would have never allowed them to be sprinters." I tend to agree, but would add Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, and some others to the list. However, in some of the states with big black populations, they...

    White men bashed again

    Jordan Boase

Thanks for this post. As I former track & field coach, I know that you have made a good point. I can distinctly remember when I was a first-year coach at a racially mixed school and all the white kids who came out for the track & field team self-identified themselves as distance runners...

Worst caste lines of the year

This was either written decades ago or this guy lives in a parallel universe. All one has to do is look at the boxing rankings to know that "white fighters can actually fight". But, this guy is a mainstream writer, so it's not necessary to actually know what he is writing about, so long as...

To White Power: I believe much the same as you do, otherwise i would not visit this site so often. I truly am a high school coach (although of track and field, not football) and there is plenty of stereotyping going on at the high school level. And, to read that it's going on at the peewee...

If Michael Vick accomplished all that as a collegiate quarterback, he was a very good one. What's the problem? Think about it, what would be your reply if someone posted that Billy Cannon and John Cappelletti were mediocre, or worse, collegiate running backs? Would you cite their stats and...
