45.21 400m from Matthew Boling today in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I don't think Boling is ever going to be top tier in any of the sprint events. He's very good in all 3 events (100m, 200m, 400m), but not excellent in any of them.

Decathlete, Simon Ehammer of Switzerland, jumped 8.34m in the decathlon competition today in Austria. That's the 2nd longest jump of the year.

Toby Gerhart's senior season (2009) at Stanford. I was able to watch all his games on TV, and he just tore up the conference. It was an incredible season. Unfortunately, he was robbed of the Heisman trophy.

Also, he won the race beating Omanyala of Kenya and Maswanganyi and Walaza of South Africa, all sub-10 sprinters.

Jack Stadlman won the CIF Southern Section (California) 400m final, with a great time of 46.27.

At the time of the race, it was the fastest time in NCAA Division I. And I believe it still is the fastest wind legal time in the NCAA this year. Also World Athletics shows it as tied for 14th fastest in the world! Amazing!!
