    Caste Football Project

The about us page is all about football but, in fact, this site is far more than that. So, Don, you really need a precise business plan - but before that you need to provide an accurate Vision Statement that addresses the entire scope of the venture.

    Is Bolt on Drugs?

In his junior years Bolt was 200/400 runner. At the 2004 Olympics as a skinny 18 year old (think Lemaitre) he got nowhere (running 21.05 in the first round) and his amazing junior career had definitely stalled. He then went off the radar for 3 years only improving his 200 time by just 0.18...

    2012 London Olympic Games Athletics

Ignoring the advantage of outstretched arms to account for not being at top speed for the baton pass, and assuming 1 second advantage for a flying start for runners 2, 3 and 4, and a 0.2 disadvantage for two curves the calculation is (36.84 + 3 - 2* 0.2)/4 = 9.86 average. Still sick!

    Steroids and Black Athletes

What is everyone's opinion about Amos Nijel, an 18 year old with just 2 years of training improving 5.5 seconds in a year, and from a nation with no culture of running, becoming the equal third fastest 800m runner of all time? Or for that matter Rudisha time-trialing a WR?

TBP - can you get a name, reference, or link for that outrageous quote. I ask because it really is what these biased types believe and I want to follow up on it.

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

The over-the-top Bolt and Blake hype, the unfair lane assignment after recording the third fastest qualifying time, and the knowledge that no one seems to care so many of his competitors are drugged would have unsettled anyone. Let's hope his spirit is not irrevocably crushed.

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

Keep positive guys; remember he has not let us down in a major competition since he false started in a semi as a teenager.

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

He has been given the inside lane (2) for the final. Goodbye bronze.

"Super Athletic" Black men can't jump really?

Perhaps the best metric for basic jumping ability is the standing long jump. The world record is held by a White athlete.

    Steroids and Black Athletes

A skinny kid who looks like Lemaitre just beat a black drug cheat (Gregory Bauge) for an Olympic gold medal in a sprint event. Pity it was in cycling and not Track.

    2012 London Olympic Games Athletics

I haven’t seen the NBC (US) TV coverage of the Track 100m finals but the Canadian commentators by their tone and attitude basically told the viewers: forget what you have seen for the last week this preeminent, headliner, marquee event of the Olympics is all that matter regarding innate sporting...

    2012 London Olympic Games Athletics

Did you notice that the NBC commentators cheered for Ferah in the final straight and not for Rupp. The Canadian commentators also. Neither could be bothered to show the long jump live. The Canadian channel showed a 5 second clip of Rutherford running through his last attempt after he had won...

    2012 London Olympics

Those that follow T&F will remember that 20 years ago the Chinese women smashed all of the running records from 3000m to 10,000m. A couple still stand today including the 3000m which is still 15 seconds faster than the best non-Chinese. These athletes came and then disappeared amid some...

    2012 London Olympic Games Athletics

Can someone help me understand this, please? The IOC said that 1001 drugs tests have been conducted since the start of the London 2012 Olympic period on July 16. The IOC President also says the crackdown on doping cheats in the run-up to the London Olympics has been a success, with testers...

    2012 London Olympics

My guess is the media will raise the bar of their biases at the Olympics where a majority of medalists will be White. So here is the start: according to the BBC the entire British team is Black. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/18964112 Click all four images.

Here is something I put together that may be of use: Media and Race There is an interesting comparison between the contemporary sporting achievements of two island nations and the media’s portrayal of race. Over the last decade or so the top performers from these two countries have developed...

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

WL I think your question is moot because it is not just a question of taking PEDs it is the response of the sports associations and the media. If Christophe (or any White) did break the world record (or win the 100m Olympic gold) by using drugs it would be dug up immediately - in other words...

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

Zeus: Just for the record there is Gregory Bauge a French cyclist who has won the world track sprint title a few times but he has been disqualified for missing drug tests. Sound familiar! Also, a guy called Louis Martin won a LH weightlifting silver in the sixties. But this short list makes...

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

This was the the fifth fastest time ever run in the cold and damp UK. Those faster were: Bolt (19.76), Gay (19.84), M. Johnson (19.85) and Spearman (19.89). The PBs of these 4 average 0.40 faster than their best UK times.

Michael Johnson: Slave descendants have 'superior athletic gene in us.’

As posters here have shown Johnson's comments are silly. It seems certain he knows Jamaicans (and now other Caribbean countries) are using PEDs and he is providing a cover up story. IMO it now raises questions about his own performances.
