Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

I was watching the British feed, and I was happy to hear that I felt the commentators during the fight were being fair to Wlad. They complimented him on his power, speed, and marveled at his title reign and longevity. They were appreciating him as the alltime great he truly is. That was nice...

Yes, Wach/Price would also be a great fight to watch!

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

Agreed on all points. Some might feel disappointed that Wlad didnt KO Wach, but I think Wach proved to be very tough tonight. Wlad's attacks were precise and perfect. Wlad started very aggressively and caught Wach with many hard shots. Wach just is an extremely tough guy and was able to...

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

+1 I thought Wladimir was terrific and as sharp as ever tonight. The difference is Wach can take the shots. Austin, Mormeck, Thompson can't.

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

Just finished watching the fight, I watched it with a friend online using one of the streams Carcharias provided (thanks for those links!). I always enjoy a good European fight and I loved watching this fight even though it was one sided! I watched the fight socially so didn't keep score, but...

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

A small comment before today's fight: LETS GO WLAD!!! Saw him at the weigh in yesterday and he looked in phenomenal shape. I don't think there's ever been a heavyweight champ who is consistently in as good of shape as Wlad.

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

Yes, I agree that mentality and confidence goes a long way in explaining performance in sports. Ive been a diehard boxing fan for my entire life (I'm 24), so I'm well versed in boxing from say, year 2000 onwards to today, I know pretty much everything about the sport. And I can tell you with...

Wladimir Klitschko - Mariusz Wach, Nov 10, 2012

+100 Agree with your point fully. I generally prefer to see white boxers move up the rankings by defeating Negroes. However, its impossible to always be doing that and at times, whites have to be matched against other whites. I felt a similar discomfort in the Proksa/Golovkin, and recent...

    Bute vs Grachev

Excellent post, and fully agree with you on all points you make. Especially those I took the liberty of bolding. :)

    Bute vs Grachev

Bika is not a joke. He went 12 rounds, and even managed to win about 3 , with an in his prime Joe Calzaghe, the greatest super middleweight of alltime. Bika also gave Ward probably the hardest fight of his career, many people thought it was a draw. Bika is far from a joke and Bute beat him in...

    Bute vs Grachev

Fair enough, but I will always root for Bute. I've literally been watching all of his fights and following him as a fan since about 2004 or 2005, that's a long time. Ive watched him develop, become a champion, lose his title to Froch, and now his comeback with Grachev. I'm a big Bute fan and...

    Bute vs Grachev

Wow, first of all congrats to both men on a great fight. Really enjoyed watching it! I was watching the fight socially with friends, and I was not studying/scoring the fight so I won't state my exact score, but the impression I got is that it was a close fight, and that perhaps Bute had pulled...

    Bute vs Grachev

Bute-Grachev is an interesting fight, Bute is a guy who a few months ago was P4P level, and since his loss needs redemption. Grachev is a tough guy who has a kickboxing background (similar to Vitali Klitschko), came to boxing late and has recently KO'd a few overrated, undefeated Negroes in...

    Bute vs Grachev

Im a *Huge* Lucian Bute fan, lol. I support all European boxers of course, but my "personal favourites" would be Bute, Sturm, Klitschko Brothers, and probably Art Abraham. I live in Toronto which is not too far (about a 5 hour drive) from Bute's adopted hometown of Montreal. Many times I...

    Dmytro Kucher

Wow, very nice KO from Dmytro! To TKO Herelius in only 2 rounds, especially as decisively as this, knocking him out of the ring is an amazing accomplishment! Herelius is only removed from being a world champion by one and a half years, and recently lost a competitive fight to world top5 Yoan...

    Dmytro Kucher

Yes, i saw this result today on BoxRec, and I was thinking about making a thread on Dmytro Kucher. I see that this thread has already been made and thats great. Kucher's TKO 2 win over Steve Herelius is very impressive! That's a tremendous result for Dmytro Kucher, as Steve Herelius is a...

    Emanuel Steward Passes.

+1, agree on all counts. Steward did not build Wlad. Steward took an already successful boxer, joined on the wagon, and arguably made some improvements. In many ways I think you can say that Wlad should be credited in the sense that without Wlad, Steward was not having any success in current...

    Emanuel Steward Passes.

Agreed! Obviously, the person who deserves the most credit for Wlad's success is Wlad. He's just a remarkable god damn athlete. His power is not taught, it's born. Also, what I admire most about Wlad is his deep mental strength. The simple fact is that after his losses, 99% of boxers would...

    Emanuel Steward Passes.

I firmly believe in supporting European Boxers, and I believe in exposing racial biases in sports media coverage. That being said, I would never normally wish death on anyone, regardless of race. So, RIP to Emanuel Steward. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR1aPfX1I-Q Have a look at this...

    Making relationship/marriages work?

Ok, so you admit to sleeping around before you were married. Then you go on to say that: Seems like you have some problems yourself pal, and clearly, you're not perfect or some sort of role model Virgin that you paint yourself out to be. Quite frankly, maybe you should take your own advice...

    Romney vs. Obama

I'm not American, and I'm also not a supporter in the type of democracy that exists in the US, but here's some thoughts I have on watching the debates and my overall feeling of the election: - First of all, I don't really think it matters who wins the election. Things are going to go the way...

    Making relationship/marriages work?

I post my picture on this site, because I have nothing to hide and I am not afraid to be public about my opinions on race, racism, feminism, media portrayal and racism in sports. I don't consider myself a hateful person. However, I don't necessarily agree with the way mainstream society...

    Making relationship/marriages work?

Thrashen, first of all if you are in your mid20's and married to a respectable female, thats great, but thats certainly an exception and for a lot of males of all ages, things dont work out that way. So I think you should consider your situation somewhat fortunate. I also dont particularly...
