    UFC 74

I'll admit it, I thought Couture was in for some trouble. I thought he was going to be stuffed in the first round, and damn was I glad to be wrong. This was the most exciting fight of the night, no doubt about it. Couture was bobbing, weaving, and beating the heavier man in every sense of...

    Joey "Minnesota Ice" Abell

Thanks JD, I can't find too much info on this hometown boy myself. He plods a bit but I'm cheering for him to fight more and raise in the ranks and in skill, I just don't expect him to be able to hang with the big dogs just yet though D:

    Grant Rees!!!

Notice they stress that he's a "frenchman". M'baye was one lazy "frenchman", the quick, almost insectoid movements of Rees were way too much for him. It was almost a reverse of stereotypes. Rees was WAY smaller than mbaye too, it was quite an impressive victory.

    Ricky Hatton

"yeah man, this was about the time I began to become racially aware. I was still in the Army hanging in the barracks with a couple guys watching him taking out this black guy, or Mexican...can't really remember, but he just whooping up on him. He did take some shots, but he was on him like stink...

    Most Overrated

I'd definitely say Ali is the most overrated, most sports casters mention his name with little else but reverence and awe at this mahogany boxing god! Though Mike Tyson being famous for knocking out people that had little business in the ring in the first place is irksome (<-- that is a word...

    Penn vs Pulver tonight!

The Maynard fight was the best of the night, IMO, and the Gamburyan one was shipping up to be very good as well if it weren't for his injury. Maybe he trains a little too hard, eh? I was really surprised by Evans performance and was rooting for him to send that kid back to mexico, too bad...

Am I the only one here who HATES MMA?

I love MMA, and I like boxing too...but sometimes I just wish it were more... f**kING EPIC!!

    Roger who?

You'd almost think they'd want to typify anything but a white guy as being representative of MMA, or any sport in general. Oh, wait...

    Forrest Griffin

I think it was pretty clear after the first few exchanges that all Ramirez had was a punchers chance. Forrest definitely fights like an Irishman.

    UFC 72

He could also be a white boy who detests his natural palour and decided to get a fake ass orange-peel tan instead, but I dunno.

    Forrest Griffin

I didn't catch that, but that's great the fighters are able to boast about "their people" to a certain degree, especially seeing as anywhere else a white guy said the "almost-but-not-quite-racial" word "hispanic" without a tone of extreme admiration he would likely be out of a job.

    UFC 72

Epic fail, I was just talking about not seeing Ed Herman since his defeat to (Macdonald...I think...now you have me questioning my memory ;_; ) I didn't check the card before I saw the re-run at BWW, I was talking about an earlier match that Ed lost, getting his face pounded while being in a...

    UFC 72

the Herman/Macdonald fight was a great exhibition of technical grappling skill by both fighters, ending in a brutal submission, I wanna see this dude fight again...it's a shame though because I haven't seen Herman fight since... Here's hoping Franklin whoops some ass.

    Brock Lesnar vs. Hong-Man Choi

hahah, he did alright, thanks man. I was really impressed with his first performance though, He did everything right and passed his guard with ease, too bad the other guy didn't have enough heart to go on after that short amount of time though... I just wish he got to face off with the giant...

    Brock Lesnar vs. Hong-Man Choi

though I was a bit disappointed by him not touching gloves. Oh well, we can see how the media reacts to a white guy who isn't "boring"

    UFC 71

I believe most sports to be overrepresented by blacks, who, failing college or a high school diploma, try and make it big in the professional sports game and that would make the fact that so many whites are curb stomping (it's an expression <3) them in boxing and MMA even funnier...

    Brock Lesnar vs. Hong-Man Choi

I was wondering why he didn't face off against Hong Man ;_;, I wanted to see Brock, who seems to be doing good at pretty much anything he tries, face off against that giant. It would have been a better match, I think.
