2026 NFL Week 5

If he doesn't get back, it would be an interesting stat line 5 carries for 6 yards and a TD. Hoping he gets back in the second half and has a nice run or two.

not brittle just overworked. have to give 1000000% effort every practice just to hope the racist coaching staff doesn't cut you anyways and they always get relegated to special teams to wear out their bodies.

Maybe there is some of that, but all the players are putting in max effort. It’s just that the white guys don’t get the game day opportunity. I realize it is magnified when one of our guys does make it through and gets game day playing time, but getting hurt right away does not do anything to change the narrative that white men aren’t built tough enough to play running back. It is a stereotype, even if mot true, that is out there. Hopefully guys like Scattabo and I know if given a chance, Steele, change that.

Because mark my words: this is Shipley’s last chance to make something of himself in the league and getting hurt right away pisses that away.

i mean you said you "swear" we're brittle when we're obviously not, basically saying you agree with the narrative. not trying to be combative with someone i obviously share a lot of core beliefs with but it's an interesting space to parrot an anti-White lie. maybe you just worded it wrong? but even still, the top 50 record for starts in NFL history is littered with White men even at brutal positions like OL and LB. and i really don't believe black players have to prove themselves in camp and practice the same White players do. i doubt the effort of a guy like dk metcalf, who knows damn well he's starting no matter what cause nfl coaches are obsessed with his physique, is putting in the same effort as an Efton Chism or someone who knows they're completely disposable. and special teams is basically car crashes every play and Shipley has been subject to them for 2 full seasons now, and basically every White player that isn't an absolute superstar has to take special teams reps at this point. i really think being forced to take kickoff and punt coverage reps is a huge reason why our guys get injured.
 
Bigsby ; Barkley ; Devonta Smith are all brittle too then...Etienne ; Breece Hall; Stevenson ; Achane ; Jeanty etc

When the league is 70/30% our guys are magnified when there is an injury ...i'm frustrated too
When WRs only make up 10% .... WRs Pearsall; Pierce; McConkey (battling ) only makes it worse

I’m specifically talking about running back. There is no narrative that white man cannot handle the pounding of offensive line. Like it or not, there IS the narrative that white men cannot take the pounding a running back takes. Shipley finally getting a chance to start and he promptly gets hurt. CMC still bears the label of oft-injured and articles still call for him to share the load. We don’t see those calls for black running backs. It takes white skill players an extraordinary circumstance to get a chance to showcase their abilities. Fair or not, immediately getting hurt doesn’t help the narrative. A guy like Skattabo, who had a gruesome injury in a prime game last season and coming back to start week one and punishing his opponents with the same tenacity is what changes narratives.
 
This game is uber boring. Pierce hasn’t done anything useful. Why not give Steele a series to see what he can do….
 
Shipley missed some practice time earlier in the week with a foot injury. Under ideal circumstances he might have been held out of this game, but finally getting the opportunity to start he gave it his best but reinjured himself.

Pierce, Pearsall, McConkey and now Shipley all reaggravated the same injury (I'm assuming Shipley reaggravated his existing injury and it isn't a new one). All brought back too soon? It would seem that way, which goes along with what's been said about always being expected to go all out, which has been the case with White RBs and WRs, and White players in general, for a long time.
 
Shipley has had a foot injury for at least 3 weeks. I don’t what kind of foot injury, but apparently he made it worse today.
 
These stupid coaches keep going for it on 4th down, instead of kick a field goal. Liam COHEN is a proper idiot. Go eagles.

Yep, refusing points at early stages of a close game is modern stupidity. The Jags may win the game but they did everything to lose against an inferior opponent who has a ton of injuries.

I’m convinced many modern coaches are absolute morons, and that is not even taking into account their adherence the caste system.
 
Texans LB Jake Hansen picks off Cam Ward. He’s been great since taking over as starter (injury).
 
Malik Willis 0/4 with 0 yards passing in the 1st quarter. And to think the Dolphins paid 40 million dollars for this. I honestly think the average CF poster could run some of these teams better than these glorified gym teachers and business school dropouts the NFL finds to run these billion dollar corporations.
 
Pats vs Raiders has some White athletes performing.

Efton Chism involved again. 2 catches for 21 yards already. Good things happen when Maye throws it his way.

For the Raiders, Brock Bowers doing his usual thing. 2 catches for 37 yards and a TD. Dylan Laube even with a carry on offense for 5 yards! What a miracle. Tommy Eichenberg must be starting as he has 3 total tackles too.
