I’m sorry, but all I see is the dental floss between her legs. I know it’s just the camera angle, but that threw me off.
 
Dominik Illovsky ran a time of 6.58 last week. Hopefully he can retain that speed outdoors over the 100 meters. He is only 24 years old.

Good to see a young 20 year old Russian Sprinter named Andrey Sapozhnikov ran a 6.64 for a new p.b. Maybe he can reach higher
levels outdoors as Konstantin Kyrlov needs some fellow teammate sprinters to raise the bar and push each other to faster times.

Lithuanian Spritner Adas Dambrauskas ran a time of 6.64 recently. He won't be 21 until June.

Polish Sprinter Oliwer Wdowik with a time of 6.59 early in the season!
 
A few quick outdoor results from Australia in the land down under.

Benjamin Kelly and Caleb Law both opened up with the same time of 10.24 wind legal. Caleb Law's p.b. is 10.17 so this is an excellent
opener for him. Benjamin Kelly is 3 years younger & won't turn 20 until November 29th of 2026. Two young guns to watch closely.
 
Trey Cunningham ran a world leading time today of 7.42 in the 60m hurdles at the Razorback Invitational.
Jakub Szymanski of Poland is the world #2 with a time of 7.48.

Wow that's blazing for both of them. In an off year it would be nice if these guys did a few more 100 meters races. I have a feeling one or
possibly both of them could possibly go sub 10. They are so explosive. Hope they both stay healthy and light it up outdoors this summer!
 
Matt Boling was disqualified in the 200 meters at the Razorback Invitational for running out of his lane. Glad he is still running.
Grant Holliday lowered his 200 time to 20.80.
Chance Cross lowered his 60-meter time to 6.59.

Attila Molnar of Hungary, broke the European indoor 400m record today in Ostrava.
His time, 45.01.
Meanwhile, Lieke Klaver ran a world leading time of 51.00 in the women's 400m.
Pia Skrzyszowska of Poland ran a world leading time of 7.78 in the women's 60m hurdles.

In addition to these guys the 22 year old Aussie Sprinter Jai Gordon opened up with a 10.17 +1.2 in his first race. So we now have
3 young sprinters between 20 - 22 years of age already with sub 10.20's in their very first race outdoors. Good to see.

I will call it the Rohan Browning and Lachlan Kennedy Effect. Stars like these 2 inspire the next generation of Aussie Sprinters!
 
That's a pretty good time for first outdoor race of the year. Lets hope he continues to move forward and the times drop accordingly!
 
Connor Schulman finished second at the Milrose Games 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.52. Chris Serrao finished fourth with a time of 7.69.
Brady Pineo, a high schooler, ran a 20.79 200 meters on 2/2/26. He also ran a 20.97 200 without the starting blocks the same day.

Incredible times from all 3 of these guys. Super happy that Poland is finally stepping it up in the mens sprints more often. My only regret is that Marek Zakrzewski seems to have lost interest in track, injuries or maybe a different life direction. Up until 2024 he was the face of Polish Mens Sprinting. He is only 21 years old so I hope he gets back on track as his talent shows such great promise for the future.

This gives me so much excitement for the future. First we had Greg Rutherford. Then currently the greek athletic freak L. Tsatoumas and now B. Saraboyukov who may also have a chance at the world record someday. He is just a baby!

New Zealand Sprinter Tiaan Whelpton opened his outdoors season with a lightning fast 10.10 +1.1. This tied his personal best in his
very first race of the season. Could this be the magical year for Whelpton? It just may be. Fantastic start to the season for him.

On another note US Collegiate Sprinter Kalen Walker ran a 6.55 yesterday!

that's a great start. Now he'll probably come "over the ditch" to race against our boys. Great opportunity to break his PB
 
Jackson Rowe ran a new personal best 10.14 (0.1, sea level) last weekend in Sydney to break his 2 year old 10.30. He just turned 22 in December

18 year old Zara Hagan posted a 11.16 (+0.8) in Canberra on 25th January

None of our top sprinters of either gender has yet posted a time on the board for 2026

I think Bol had a tough time in this race with her inner clock. She was like a Ferrari wanting to take off but having to keep hitting the breaks so as to not run into the pacer. She will need to deal with this urge to fly when she needs to relax and run smoother splits.
