New Orleans Saints General Thread

Tyler Shough has a great opportunity to start as a rookie this year. His main competition is Spencer Rattler, who did not look good when he played as a rookie some last year. Admittedly he was just a rookie and I believe that quarterbacks shouldn't be judged too harshly as rooks, but nevertheless Shough certainly seems to be an obviously better talent. Jake Haener is also in the mix and who knows, maybe he'll get a shot but he'll have to surpass the overrated and overhyped Rattler to do so.

At any rate, the Saints are widely predicted to be the worst or among the worst teams this year, and if Shough doesn't show enough potential they should be in prime position to take Arch Manning next year in the draft, Arch of course being the grandson of legendary Saints QB Archie Manning, though Arch may wait until the '27 draft to start his pro career.

LB Danny Stutsman has been flashing at Training Camp so far! Been all over the field! .... Including at INT for TD
Future Star in the making?

Very glad to see Daniel Jones win the Indy starting job, as he should have, after a lot of cuckery and posing by the Colts higher-ups. The other big decision involving an upsider and an overachiever at QB is coming to a head in New Orleans.

Looks can be deceiving but Kellen Moore strikes me as a standard cuck, maybe even more so than the standard NFL plantation overseer. Spencer Rattler showed nothing last year while Tyler Shough was seemingly drafted to be the starter, especially considering he turns 26 in a month. But just as we were hearing about the Indy situation, the two are supposedly running in a dead heat with Rattler named the starter for the Saints' final preseason game.

I had a feeling Jones was going to win out in Indianapolis. I mean even for the Caste NFL he was the obvious choice over an erratic bust and head case like Richardson. But I don't have a strong feeling about the ongoing New Orleans "horse race." Any opinions?

From Weenieworld: Saints announced QB Spencer Rattler will start in preseason Week 3 against the Broncos. Saints quarterbacks have looked great, playing against backups through two preseason games. Last week, Rattler was the one who starred in the second half. Entering the third preseason game as the starter could suggest that Rattler has slightly pulled ahead of rookie QB Tyler Shough, though the Saints would likely prefer to have their new second-round pick win the role. Regardless, neither player is re-draft-relevant.
