March Madness 2025

Kentucky not terrible anymore with new coach Pope. 1 starter with 5 year man Carr and underclassmen Chandler, Perry and Noah usually playing as reserves.

Yeah, if they beat Illinois it isn't that bad.
Certainly an improvement over their coal teams of the recent past.

6'-2" Guard Sean Padulla is the straw that stirs the drink for Ole Miss. In today's win vs Iowa State he had 20 points 8 assist 4 steals ; vs UNC Friday he had 20 points 5 assist 2 steals

Impressive how Cooper Flagg bounced back after the nasty ankle injury!

U.Conn 6'-7" Forward Liam McNeely had 22

Hate I missed Padulla's game, but I was able to see some of the Duke game. Flagg looked great again. 18/9/6. Knueppel as well. He only took five shots, but made four for 12 points.

BSPN with its typical Black Power/Anti White stance. The headline says it all.

The black author is right but for all the wrong reasons. LOL.

“Sports — and the NCAA tournament in particular — may be the greatest pushback to the negativity surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion. Indeed, the sports industry runs on DEI. We’d be nowhere without it.

Sports was the initial DEI and affirmative action institution. So it makes sense that it will be the last to fall, even with DEI falling in other areas.

Cooper Dejean, Riley Moss, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Cooper Flagg etc are all giving DEI new meaning :)

The tournament hasn’t been great for White teams of late. I’m hoping Duke and Florida win their sides of the bracket and meet in the final. Then I’d want Duke, on the back of a huge Cooper Flagg game to win it all.

Michigan State,Tennessee and Alabama just don’t offer enough to interest me. Auburn, Houston and Texas Tech offer nothing.

Same here. We need Flagg to win it all! However, IMO opinion, he's going to need Kon Knueppel to continue subtly playing well. Knueppel has been huge all year, but particularly in the last two games. Although he only scored 12 against Baylor, he was 4-5 and made a couple of 3's to keep the momentum going. Then against Arizona, he scored a quiet 20. I say quiet because he was overshadowed by Flagg's excellent play and Arizona's Caleb Love scoring 35. Remember Knueppel was The ACC Tournament MVP!
We, (Flagg as well) really need Knueppel as well to win it all!

Wow, really didn't think Florida was going to pull that out. What a comeback at the end. Haugh and Clayton were great down the stretch. It's like they waited until the very end to play with a sense of urgency.

Kon Kneupel is having himself a game on defense and offense. Kid doesn't back down from anyone.

I nickname him "The Baby Faced Assasin".

This is my first time watching Duke this year. Didn't realize how talented they are. Besides Flagg who will be the #1 pick, 5 of their other players are projected to be drafted this year, including Malauch at #7 and Kneupel at #10. I don't see anyone beating this team. They just wiped the floor with a very tough Alabama team at the end.

How is this guy’s name pronounced “K’Nipple” and not “K’Nupple”? Ha
It's a German surname that is a bit of slur it means a man with coarse hair. I suspect the mispronouncing of the name is due to the fact that nobody but German speakers can pronounce the name properly. The surname is supposed to have a German character called a umlaut to help with uttering the name properly.

As for this thread similar to the USPS with the slogan " rain sleet or snow" Phal has the College Basketball tournament preview ready with a non PC view on the tournament...

PS Paige Bueckers has another German surname that isn't pronounced properly probably for the same reason...
