Pierce loses a split decision. That takedown in the last 20 seconds will haunt Pierce who is now 0-3 against top fighters and belongs in the second tier of fighters at 170.

Pierce got robbed, I had him winning both round 1 and 3 and you could make an arguement that he won all three. Other than a late takedown, in which nothing happened, I didn't see anything from Kos.

I think that last take-down by Kos sealed the deal (w/ the judges).

Pierce was winning the striking battle, and Kos wasn't doing anything on the ground. Two of the three judges agree with me.

Nice "highlights" of Fedor.

Fedor could definitely still defeat any HW currently in the UFC. I would favor him in any fight.

Fabricio's striking has improved alot...and Big Country needs to cut down to LHW. :(

Roy lost because of his style. Werdum is not a veryu good striker at all. Roy looked like he got frustrated and threw the fight away.

Roy is a tough guy and a big puncher but needs a plan B. He just swings that right hand and hopes it connects.

I don't have much of a dog in this fight. Condit is a little bit mixed himself and his wife is a mestiza. Should be a great fight though. Diaz vs GSP would probably be a lot more interesting though.

I didn't think he was mixed at all until I saw the countdown show. It's more obvious in his HS yearbook photo. His dad kind of has a George Lopez-like cranioform. His dad looks less European to me than Velasquez's.

I don't know. He looked white to me. His name is Bill Condit (or maybe Bob Condit). Pretty Anglo name.

Plus Condit is very pale. It does appear he is married to a mestiza, however.

My scorecard for the Diaz/Condit fight was
round 1 Condit
round 2 Diaz
round 3 Condit
round 4 Condit
round 5 Diaz
I expect them to give the fight to Diaz because of the hype they've already made for the GSP/Diaz fight.

Condit is Half-White half-Mexican, but I tend to root for him because of how he conducts himself and because he's a fast learning. What I find most funny is the fact that people who don't like him tend to bring up the fact that he is rich kid, but he really did come up the hard way fighting in not so well know gyms, unlike the Diaz brother who as kids hard trained in all the best gyms.

GSP's wrestling would seem to be too strong for Condit but who knows.

Glad he won. Only the Pierce was a bad result (I already counted Werdum-Nelson as a loss and Roy did not embarass himself).

Good call on the UD. Diaz is PO'd because Condit used strategy and wouldn't just stand in front of him. Condit might have slightly better striking than GSP, but there's NO way he'll stop GSP's takedowns & ground control.
