Roger Federer - The Last Sporting Hero

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I pick this joint.

When they say sporting hero, it's someone who sets a GOOD example, a role model for everyone to follow or look up to. Someone with no record or scandals to speak of. Federer is an example (for now), with no peers in that department, unlike a Tiger Woods, a Michael Jordan, a Brett Favre, a Andre Agassi etc...

You guys can elaborate better than I could, so start discussing amongst yourselves!

Silly headline. There are lots of heroes in sports; they just happen to be the "wrong color" as far as the media is concerned. It's the blacks who are undeservedly put on pedestals who keep brutally crashing down to earth, though the media still tries to resurrect them even after they are accused of murder (Ray Lewis) and rape (Kobe Bryant). A White man has to bethe greatest ever in his sport or close to itto achieve hero status from the media, but there are many excellent White athletes of exceptional character in all sports who don't get the recognition they deserve.
