Man, Pual has some great skills, he was on the same level as Mayflower sparring. How old is this session.? Right there Pual displayed the blue print to beat Mayflower, a stiff jab, side movement. The key is to do it for 12 rounds and not get tired. One fighter was able to do it and got ripped off. The first Costello fight.

    Thanks BD for the vid.

    From Fightnews:

Former IBF lightweight champion Paul Spadafora (44-0-1, 18 KOs) scored an eith round TKO over Ivan Fiorletta (24-6-2, 7 KOs) on Friday night at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Now fighting at welterweight, the slick Spadafora was connecting at will when the bout was waved off by referee Frank Gentile at the :40 mark.

There's talk of Paul facing Devon Alexander who holds the IBF & WBC Jr Welterweight titles.

    Spadafora defeats Hernandez

Unbeaten junior welterweight Paul Spadafora (45-0-1, 19 KOs) stopped Alain Hernandez (18-9-2, 10 KOs) with powerful hooks and combinations over five exciting rounds. Unfortunately the punishment to the body and head of Hernandez was too much for the Tijuana, MX fighter as he was unable to come off his stool in the corner to battle in round six. The seven bout fight card at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT was promoted by Michael Acri Boxing.

The HITS just keep coming, congrats to Paul! Hopefully he still young enough to make it to a title and cash in on his second chance.

Masterful boxer Spadafora is a paradox often found in boxing. Very smart in the ring. Complete and utter idiot out of it.

I forgot all about Spadafora. He used to be a joy to watch in the ring. A great tactical fighter, not a big punches at all but was a lightweight champion. It's too bad that like slot of boxers he seems to not be that smart at all outside of the ring.
