Freaking Praise the Lord. I just read a story on Matt Drudge saying that the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision struck down large portions of the freedom of speech destroying McCain/Feingold campaign finance law. The four conservatives on the court, Scalia, Roberts, Alito, Thomas and the sometimes conservative Kennedy were the five votes we needed to trash this stupid law. So two stunning victories this week to put the progressives on the defensive and the tea party patriots just got more ammo today to keep rolling along.
Nancy Pelosi also admitted today that she didn't have the votes in the House for the Senate healthcare bill to get through and that there was no hurry to rush the health care legislation. I wouldn't say the bill is dead yet but it's definitely on life support.

*Beep Beep Beep* Whats that sound? It's the sound of the so-called progressive (really Marxist) agenda being forced to go back a step. I really jazzed about the Tea Party movement. It has got some flaws no doubt, but it can directly be thanked if in fact Obama care comes crashing down. Maybe a little later it's evil tween seester amnesty can find out she is not so welcome. If all of the Marxists plans had gone exactly as planned, Once Obama Care was rammed through, we could expect a renewed Fairness doctrine for radio and internet, Amnesty, Gun Bans, Cap and Trade, Carbon Taxes, Hate Speech Laws, Federal pro gay marriage laws etc etc to all come barreling through in rapid succession. It is bad enough that they were successfully able to extend special status to sexual deviants in their expanded hate crimes legislation. It is a small victory, but at this point, any step in the right direction is good.Edited by: Bear Backer

I'm glad to see the odious McCain-Feingold law get struck down. But on a darker note, the Tea Party movement appears headed toward the inevitable schisms caused by ideological differences and charges of greed. If the movement is to be successful it must be kept as truly grassroots and decentralized as possible.

That piece of trash legislation, was one of many (similar, traitorous) bills from the Globalist shill "Juan McAmnesty". Good riddens to that violation of the 1st Amendment!
