Had to post a blurb about this website. I ordered a couple cd's from Amazon last month and used the usual distributors, who i trust and get their stuff to me ASAP. This time, though, I was able to order a Skrewdriver cd, which is simply incredible. The distributor was out of WVA called Die Hard Records.

Never heard of them before, have an idea who they are affiliated with, but was anxious to see if I got the cd.

Sure enough I got it in 5 days, for a good price too. So, I went on their website to see what else they have and they have a ton of stuff. So if you're looking for some truly politically incorrect tunes, I'd highly recommend going to diehardrecords.net.

Don't know if you'll have as a good service as I did, but it's nice to know there is a legit website and distributor out there who can get hard to find stuff to you.

I think you might have two companies confused with one-another. Resistance Records is the one located in West Va. Diehard Records is located in Ohio, at least to my knowledge it is. But I'm not sure, as the might have moved their office. Either way, which Skrewdriver album did you order?

They recorded a song called, "The Snow Fell" right before Ian Stuart died, and its a great ballad. Usually their music was more aggressive, but this song is different. Its softer and more soulful. Good stuff.Check it out if you've never heard it before.

I thought Resistance Records was in Minnesota. At least they used to be I think.

I do know this Die Hard Records is now out of WVA, I am sure it's nothing more than a name change to get on Amazon. Good for them.

Anyway, got my 3 cd's in 3 days, shrinkwrapped and everyting. No lyrics though, which sucks but I can live with that.

So, two orders from Die Hard Records and two successes. No propaganda sent with the package either. Don't need my wife coming down on me or if I order at work, my boss. So, I appreciate that.

Ordered Hail the New Dawn. By far and away the best cd of all time, of almost ANY type of music. Haven't been able to listen to it for a while because I only had it on tape. So, I am very happy. And of course the Skullhead cds are fantastic too.

Ever hear of Nordic Thunder? Their singer was killed too about ten years ago. They were awesome.
Oh and I finally heard a song from Blue Eyed Devils on a podcast I was listening to. You talked them up didn't you GF? Well, they freakin' kick ass too. Good call, my man.

Ya'll fellas need to check out RebelMeetsRebel...a country/metal fusion jam band with David Allan Coe, Rex Brown (Pantera), Vinnie Paul (Pantera & Damageplan) & the late, great Dimebag Darrell (Pantera & Damageplan). It's a badass CD indeed....Get'cha pull!

David Allan Coe meets Pantera! Man, that sounds awesome! Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone follow Hank 3 from the Bocephus fame? There was a tattoo guy around my way that was playing him in his shop. Never heard of Hank 3, haven't looked him up or anything, but thought he sounded interesting.

cslewis1, Hank 3 is son of Bocephus & grandson of Luke the Drifter (aka Hank Sr.). He usually will play a Country/"Hellbilly" set with his band "Damn Band", and then play trash-metal set with his band "Assjack". He also played bass with Phil Anselmo's (Pantera)band "Superjoint Ritual". I'm not a huge fan of "3", as I prefer old school country (Hank Sr/Jr, Merle, Waylon George Jones, etc.) & more "traditional" metal (Iron Maiden, Dio, etc.), but he's got some talent. FYI, he also sings the chorus on "Get Out of My Life" on the Rebel Meets Rebel album I mentioned above. Here's some more info on Hank 3...

i always worry these new guys will wigger out on us and go incorporate a hip hop sound in their music. Hopefully Hank3 doesn't do that. That I absolutely can't stand and have zero respect for bands that do it.When Biohazard rapped in one of their songs in the late 80's, or even Antrhax, that was allright because noone else did it.

There was a band called Youth Brigade that had rap in one of their songs from like 1984 or something. Now that is progessive. Nowadays, it's just stupid.
