Halford is as queer as a football bat, but one of the best metal vocalists of all time...shy of Ronnie James Dio & Bruce Dickenson. I'd also give JP a pass as Tipton & Downing are one of the best guitar duos in metal history (as well). Maiden's probably my all time fav, but Priest is in the top 10 (even with a sodomite om vocals).

Nothing gets past you guys. The irony is that it was a band fronted by a gay guy that helped me to cope with gay disco music! He came out of the closet 15 years later. What was I going to do? Burn their records? Instead, it became a joke. I was listening to some of their earlier albums recently, or as I told some friends, this was the time "When Robbie was still a man."
Michael Jackson being gay surprised me. I thought he was only interested into little boys.

If you went into a disco in the 70s you would have know that something was up. We just didn't have a word for it. Caste football would have been the perfect word.
I and my friends were inspired by an article in the paper about discos. It sounded like a nice place for guys to meet girls. Years later this writer would come out of the closet.
For most of us, discos was the first experience where straight whites were not the majority. When I grew up, I rarely heard any racist comments and even then it was considered tacky. Just because you do not like someone doesn't meant that you have to hate them. Non-whites give in to their hate and when in the majority freely express it. This is why many white males hate disco.

Very interesting story, id love to hear some more. Have you got any similar experiences? I like reading about stuff like this " Back in the day".

I heard awhile back--no joke--that a reporter asked Rob Halford who he found sexually attractive, and his response was "Howie Long"!

LOL that was awesome to me for so many reasons.

1) I was a metalhead/hood as a teenager, and got expelled from a Christian school for it

2) I sing that song during my infrequent trips to a shower

3) The dude flips off the wall

It's interesting to see that we have quite a few young posters on here, which I suspected over time due to cultural references and such. I'm in my early 20s as well, and in my generation and the younger ones there is more of a realistic view of blacks and minorities in general. And this is not just among outcast skindheads and the like. These are the views of socially active and highly regarded young males. This is ironic considering these kids have spent their entire life in public and private indoctrination institutions telling them that blacks have it worse, yet are still better than us, so do everything you can to support them and feel bad about yourself and ancestors for doing them wrong. This has ironically backfired in many cases. Yes, many kids do believe this crap and worship it, but I think the whole indoctrination program is having unintended consequences.

You're right Electric Slide. The law of compensation is omnipotent; it never ceases to exist. Racial thoughts, or the instinctual drive to propagate ones own race and culture, may be repressed among whites who have bought into the lie that race is a social construct with absolutely no biological grounds; but the energies are still there, albeit unconsciously and more importantly, dangerously; for those energies that have free play in the human unconscious will not trickle up nicely nor politely; they will gush from dark to light like a geyser, violently demanding the right to exist as a distinct people.

They have less 'white guilt' to overcome, because for their entire lives blacks have been prominently displayed and pandered to on television, movies, etc. They have no real memory of a time when everyone was not 'equal,' and many of them are being effected by racial policies like race based scholarships and admissions to universities.

The takeover can be dated to 1913 with the founding of the Federal Reserve and the slow decline started then.<div>
</div><div>I am a little older then some of the other posters (32) and can tell you that really the 1980s were still pretty good. </div><div>
</div><div>There was still lots of White Rock and Roll and Heavy Metal

every-where. The pop songs were still mostly by White artists. The massive waves of illegal immigrants hadn't started yet. Sure there was the occasional token black on tv, but not in anyway like how it is today. There is a difference between tokenism and 'diversity', at least in my mind. The flicks were still good. You could watch a John Hughes flick and the cast was all White!

Imagine the outcry if that occured today.. look at the massive negative reaction to the recent Lord of the Rings flicks for example (about the only good flicks recently)</div><div>
</div><div>So the decline started in 1913, really gained steam in the '90s with illegal immigration (this can be dated as well, Clinton Administration had ordered no more round-ups at one point, forget the precise date though) and now here we are living in a dystiopian diversity time period of a 2nd depression (unemployment rate is 13% where I live and most of 'backwards' Eastern European former commie countries have a LOWER rate!!! What a joke), swarms of illegals everywhere, and ruled over by a Magic Negro!! How far we have fallen!!!

'Do you remember that show Beverly Hills 90210. I think it came out around 1990 and it had an all white caste, then a year or 2 ago they restarted the show and of course they had a black student in it. MTV was mostly white in the 80's also. There was illegal immigration though before the 90's because there was a big Amnesty under REagan, but it has gotten worse. I am tired of all immigration at this point.

The 80s certainly weren't awash in PC BS as the 90s or the "2000"s. However, being a tyke in the 70s (in the South) I can't recall much cultural marxism at all. Granted, I was a whippersnapper but I recall Stone Mountain embracing Southern/CSA heritage...unlike it is currently. Even Six Flags had Antebellum theme & "Rebel" flags in one section of the park. Even Underground Atlanta had more of an "Old South" feel. Those were good times.

It's all a continuum. The '80s were terrible compared to the '70s, which in turn were worse than the '60s, which were far, far worse than the '50s. Though it's simplistic and generally wrong to give labels to decades. For example, what's generally referred to as the "60s" were really from 1965 through 1974. The first years of the '60s were basically a continuation of the '50s. By the mid-'70s little was left of the '60s counterculture but burning embers as disco and mindless materialism replaced whatever genuine sense of rebellion had existed previously.

The permanent Cultural Marxist Revolution started in earnest right after the assassination of JFK and then kicked into high gear in 1967 and hasn't relented for a second since. Despite all the worshipping of Ronald Reagan he was a fervent New Dealer whose rhetoric was often great but he was otherwise a continuation of the status quo just as Barack Obama is now. I believe that "Old America" for all intents and purposes died in the mid 1970s when almost all of the fight had gone out of whites to resist busing, affirmative action, "civil rights," feminism, homosexuality, porn, decadence, and all the other "isms" and poisons openly unleashed upon the land a decade previously.

When I first started getting politically active in nationalist causes in the mid-1980s there were plenty of people involved who were in the America First movement of the 1930s, and even a World War I veteran could be found here and there. They grew up in an America vastly different from the one I did, and now I find myself doing my best to keep their memories alive along with my own. The best any of us who are baby boomers and younger can do is pick up and absorb fragments of our nation's and our race's real history and values and try to keep them alive through our writings, activism, and personal codes of honor, and hopefully lay the groundwork for their renewal if/when the current evil system collapses or is overthrown.

I agree with you about what we can do, and I believe we owe it to our past and our future to do what we can to improve the situation.

1913 was certainly a pivotal year, but then again, so was the Second War of Independence (1861-1865). Even further back, the era of "Jacksonian democracy" was a marked step away from what the Founders envisioned for the United States. It is definitely a worsening continuum, but hopefully, after things hit rock bottom, there will be a better new America rising from the shambles of the old.

The date of the takeover is usually when you notice it. I remember reading in a Chicago newspaper (that no longer exists) how excited football teams were about black players. They felt that OJ Simpson was the example of the new type of player. Instead of crashing through the line like Jim Taylor, OJ would look for daylight and before you could react, he would be ten yards upfield. The expert said that all the teams were scouting the black schools were they were finding many talented athletes. He predicted that in the future most sports teams would be half black. Imagine that! I though this was nonsense. Blacks, at the time, did not care for sports. Sports take work, discipline, and you might get hurt. The only black athletes were the talented 10%. With the Civil Rights bill pasted, they would devote their time to studies and become doctors, or scientist, or scholars! By 1980, I expected the numbers of blacks in all sports to decline to no more than 10% of the team. I never expected a caste system that would force teams to take unqualified people due the color of their skin.
