All Black Promos

For me, both college and pro football and basketball have become unwatchable. The Super Bowl was 80% black and the college football championship between Fla. State and Auburn had 6 white starters out of 44. I didn't watch the college basketball championship but I think they had 9 black starters and one lone whitey. I haven't watched the NBA in over a decade but one chap on CF does a great job updating the white players and the NBA may actually be slightly better than the NFL now in terms of black supremacy!

But sports like MMA, baseball, boxing, soccer, wrestling and the like still are majority white or at least have a considerable white presence. But you wouldn't know it from sport highlight shows or promos. Everytime I see a promo for a Red Sox game they show only David Ortiz. The only black guy on the team yet he is the sole focus. Promos for UFC on FOX seem to only focus on Jon Jones or Anderson Silva knocking out white fighters. HBO Boxing is doing a decent job showcasing white fighters but their promos are almost all black. Tiger Woods and the Williams sisters are the only players most people know or recognize in golf and womens tennis even though white players are now #1 in either sport. The Klitschkos dominated heavyweight boxing for over a decade yet are known only to serious sports fans.

The message is clear. Only blacks can be athletic and worth watching.

Speak o' the devil. Minutes after I posted this I went to MMAJunkie.com. They have a banner ad promoting the Yanks v. Red Sox game tonight. The two players highlighted are Jeter and Ortiz. Again, only blacks need apply to be idolized sports heroes.

LL, that's one of the (many) reasons that I 86'd the "hellivision" years ago...the endless pro caste propaganda. It's also why I stopped following the Yo.B.A, college hoops & minimized following of the NFL. If we still had "TalmudVision", I'd likely watch some MMA & college football (here & there), but that'd be about it.
