Slated for it's inagural season in 2009. If you click the "Tour" button, you'll find that Eric Crouch was drafted, in addition to Tre Smith. I'm sure there are many more white players involved but those two names stuck out.

The AAFL also requires that all of it's players hold a 4-year degree before entering the league. An interesting twist, to be sure.

So what do you guys all think? The official site claims that they are not out to compete with the NFL or the NCAA, but to complement them. I believe that a new league will open all sorts of opportunities, if it can be fiscally responsible and survive.

Arena League has carved out a niche, and I think that the AAFL could have similar success. I think it's on it's way claiming not to be trying to compete with the NFL.

Thoughts?

I had the idea for doing this YEARS ago. I'm glad to see some league finally made this mandatory. It'll keep all the "bad elements" out of the league.

I frankly doubt that this league will ever get off the ground.

Don't be so sure. It could be the era of a new dawn. You never know.

However, I'm sure all the drunk White fans won't appreciate it very much, as there won't be enough (if any) uneducated, crime-driven thugs in the league.
