Bears-Lions a likely snoozefest. Hoping Dalton and Goff do well, Hockensen too, and maybe The Rodent will be fired if the Lions manage to actually win their first game.

Looks like an all-black officiating crew, just like the cast for most of the commercials. There always has to be some "woke" gimmick going on to divert attention from the mostly crap product on the field. . .

Yeah, there's nothing to root for on either side of this Coal Bowl except Anzalone and the tight ends. I guess we'd rather have a Lions win because it might result in Nagy's firing. It also increases the likelihood that the Texans land Matt Corral in the draft (they're the only team with 3 or fewer wins that currently has a non-white starting QB).

Can you imagine if Nagy actually finally set Ryan Nall free today and he had a huge day. It saves Nagys Job and he finally sees the light.

Not gonna happen but it's a good dream. Go Lions!

Anzalone gets a lot of criticism from the fans and media in Detroit, mostly because like all DWF his long blonde hair is the only thing they see on a coal black defense that sucks.

The fact that he is out there for the coin toss and anchors the defense shows the respect the team has for him, but is lost on fans looking for a scapegoat.

Speaking of the coin toss, did anyone else see the Bears linebacker try to defer after the Lions had already deferred? The ref (Adrian Hill, who's black) quickly corrected him and the Bears eventually chose to take the ball for the first half. Then Aikman jumped in and praised Hill for properly handling the situation, mentioning that Hill was an aerospace engineering something-or-other. The jokes write themselves.

After a decade or so with no White defensive players in Detroit, Anzalone and his hair stands out big time to the Lions DWFs for sure. He's been fighting the injury bug going back to college, but he's been healthy this season and is playing very well. Hopefully he can string a few more healthy or mostly healthy seasons together.

Dalton playing well on a team with a bad o-line and Pop Warner level receivers with Allen Robinson out (Fields couldn't get the ball to Robinson even when he was healthy). Andy's up to 250 passing yards early in the third quarter. He led the Bengals to the playoffs year after year but of course was the scapegoat for Marvin X's failures in the post-season.

Like don said TD Hockenson!! Even the DWFs on Twitter are wondering why the offense doesn’t involve him more

Probably first and last time but rooting for the Lions a little bit ;)
Goff, Hockenson, Anzalone among others.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you Americans!

The Lions are fielding Anzalone and 10 idiots on defense, systematically squandering the game away, pathetic. . .

Total brain fart for McCarthy to not challenge the Waller fumble, and the Cowboys had a clear recovery.

Is Aikman morphing into Crissy Collinsworth(less) the more years he spends in the booth? Clearly he got the “blacks are geniuses” memo.

Great point Freethinker. You're right, I remember calling him out last week for doing something similar in the Cowboys/Chiefs game.

EDIT: Yep, last week's genius was Tyreek Hill, for the brilliant act of staying in bounds while his team had the league with 4 minutes remaining. Perhaps he too can look forward to a career as an aerospace engineer once his NFL days are over.

Watching the Lions/Bears highlights and hit a stretch where the Lions lost yardage on three straight plays with penalties? I wonder what the record for consecutive plays with penalties might be.

Raiders throwing the game away by playing a "prevent" defense.

Raiders have 19 seconds and don't attempt to win. This is a losing philosophy.
