Salient points KG. I guess I should have made it clear that I was speaking more about whites not being able to be racist than blacks. I thought that was easy to see, but my apologies if it wasn't.

I have been discriminated against, and that is putting it mildly, by black police who hate whites, so I know where you are coming from. Yes, if they commit enough crimes that it instills fear in people, they can have an affect on whites, no doubt, but that is a collective, long term effort. You are also talking about efforts that happen mainly in areas that have a large black population, like cities. Blacks do have power in these areas, just as they have in this sucky Delta. Yeah, I may sound a little like the libs with my argument, but here's the part they won't dare tell you. All blacks have the power and ability to choose to be racists in this country, thanks to the media and spineless politicians. They can choose to be part of the larger racist movement to purge whites from power and possibly existence in this country. I see the Caste System as part of this racist movement. As a white person, you can't speak out without fear of retribution when blacks move into an area and turn it into a pig pen, or start killing people. The law is on their side, and has been for decades. Whites have no such protection or power anymore, except our own fists and guns.

Most blacks I know are racialists. They think of things in terms of how if affects their own race and they favor their own race over ours. A few blacks I have met are racists, and are involved in such activities that would try to keep whites living in fear. Most whites aren't like this, thanks to laws and the liberal, black loving media. Yes, whites have enacted these laws that have empowered and allowed black racism to flourish.

So, I call a white who is pro-white and thinks in terms of whites first a racialist. I would call a white who is part of an effort to terrorize exterminate another race by force a racist. Same way with blacks.

One thing is for sure, today's society sucks big time.

We are on the same side. I think our terminology is just a little different.

When I said "racist" I didn't mean it in a bad way. Most people don't know what a racialist is unless they are one. That's why I haven't really got into the habit of using the term. No apologies are necessary. I'm so blunt that I seem combative sometimes even when that's not what I'm trying to be. And yes, today's society sucks big time. I feel like I was born in the wrong decade or century sometimes.

Cool deal KG. If my words were a little disjointed and rambling, its because I'm in love with a pretty little thing from Illinois. Yeah she is a yankee, but the way I see it, I'm invading the north!

The idea of 100,000 mostly white fans, and their white cheerleaders idolizing all these black players each and every week is pitiful to me.

At VA Tech, a lot of the guys that go to the games are aging, fat, mid-level managers of various corporate entities and their life's worth is in the way teenage blacks play a football game.

In their hearts they might not like the fact the teams are all black, or that many of the cheerleaders are hooking up with these guys, but they have no balls to take a stand and say anything. They simply tailgate and drown themselves with beer, eat until their stomachs explode, stare at the co-eds, cheer for the blacks and go home to their unfulfilling lives, always bending over to keep taking it where the sun don't shine.

I pray this will never be me.

I don't know what it's like were you go/went to school, but I'm a varsity athlete a big school (don't want to give out too much info about myself, don't want this to backfire on me), and most of what you say is true except the cheerleaders hooking up with the black guys. I actually dated one of our cheerleaders and several of my teammates have and still do, so I know quite a few of them. Rest assured that, as far as I know, none of them date any of the black football or basketball players. The cheerleaders tend to have higher standards. Unfortunately some of the black athletes do go out/hook up with white girls, but they are simply jersey-chasing ugly bitches.

Trust me, I'm not living in any sort of fantasy world and I know this first hand, other than cheering at the games, the cheerleaders have nothing to do with the black guys. This is just my school, don't know what it's like elsewhere. Being a white college athlete isn't all-bad

eaxs, that child-like obsession happens everywhere. It just so happens that college football is more popular in the South than anywhere else in the country. It has been that way for decades prior to integration. The reason, there were no pro football teams in the Deep South, and the martial spirit that the college games took on. It also is now a fact that the SEC teams are blacker than any teams in the country. So, the obsession was already stronger in the South, and has now shifted from all white teams to near all black teams, without as much as a batted eye or discarded season ticket in many cases.

I understand about the South's obsession with football (since I live in Texas). It is very much ingrained to the culture and history of the region. What I am getting at you summed up nicely in your last sentence, and I think that is the thing that bothers me the most - many racially-conscious White people stuffing stadiums to see black hoodlums play a football game.

It bothers me a lot too, eaxs. I really get upset at how little it takes to keep these "team loyal" fans on board. The teams on the field are nothing like most of these fans. But you try to get them to walk away from "their team," and aw heck naw, it'd take flying monkeys for that to happen.

On Jan. 1 1966, Alabama beat the tar out of a much bigger Nebraska team and won the national title. That year Bear Bryant had made HS running backs into offensive linemen. His team was outweighed at every position on the field.

My point is that the concept of having such big men on the field is ridiculous. A superbly conditioned (calisthenics, not weight training) team can take these behemouths apart. Most likely by the start of the 2nd quarter, the big team will be sucking wind. By the third and forth quarters, they'd be hardly able to stand upright. All anyone has to do is get them running and make a couple of consecutive 1st downs and that'll do it.

Great posts Colonel_Reb and KG2422. You guys seem to be more rational and reasonable on racial issues then people on other boards do. I'm glad to see that. As far as my racial experiences are concerned, I have always gotten along pretty well with Blacks, and I really don't have any beef with them except for the double standards and hypocrisies that run rampant between the races. It makes me sick that Blacks can get off for almost anything, no matter how severe the crime, simply because of skin color (OJ). Any White person that says anything that someone might find to be the least bit "racially insensitive" (Imus, Rush, Hornung) are fired, while Blacks get away with anything they say (Irvin, Gumbel, etc) I hate how Black race-baiters find "racism" in almost everything. I don't hate anyone because of skin color. I hate double standards that put one group above another!!! That said, Blacks are not the problem we need to be worrying about right now. Hispanics are the biggest threat demographically to the future of this nation, and will displace both races. Both Whites and Blacks need to join together to stop the illegal Mexican invasion!!!

As for sports, I definitely see the anti-White system that is enforced every day, and I am tired of it. I will watch sports regardless of if the players are White or Black, but I do think It's BS that talented White players are constantly overlooked and kept from having a chance to be a star because they play the "wrong position." It's not the race of the players that bother me, It's the purposeful exclusion of talented White players because of their race that angers me, as well as the double standards I covered above.

Hispanics are the "only threat"? Nope. Because of the hatred of whites they are imbued with, blacks are a real and present danger to the safety and future of whites no matter whether their percentage of the population is increasing or not. And Asians are entering the U.S. in ever larger numbers and also present a demographic threat, given that there are more of them on Earth than any other race. China could lose 150 million emigrants to the U.S. and it would barely make a dent in that country's population.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama safety Rashad Johnson was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly knocking a security guard down at an off-campus bar early Saturday morning, Tuscaloosa police said.

<H3>Johnson was arrested at 2:55 a.m. at the Legacy bar on the strip near Alabama's campus, police spokesman Robert Fourt said in a statement Saturday. The 22-year-old Johnson was released on $500 bond shortly after being booked on the misdemeanor charge. </H3>


Officers had spotted a disturbance outside the bar, which was closing, Fourt said. Legacy security personnel were escorting someone from the bar when Johnson allegedly attempted to intervene and pushed one of the security officers, who fell out the door and onto the ground.


Johnson, a first-team All-Southeastern Conference pick, was arrested after a brief struggle, Fourt said. Additional officers from city and university police responded after a large crowd gathered, but no one else was arrested


A Tuscaloosa officer received a minor abrasion to his knee during the arrest, but did not require medical attention.


Johnson, a former walk-on, led the Crimson Tide with 94 tackles and six interceptions as a junior. He finished in a three-way tie for the SEC lead in interceptions. He was selected a captain by his teammates after the season.


It was the second arrest involving a Tide player in the past week. Defensive lineman Jeremy Elder was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery last Sunday night.
