Robison has the fastest 40 of any def. lineman with a 4.66, 2nd time 4.69.

Reports have him with a 40.5 Vert.

Scouts are talking him up pretty well, saying he's getting overlooked but that this will open some eyes.

I heard that Brian Robison won the dunk competition on the Texas Longhorn football team. Clearly the man is a athlete.

Does anyone remember Mario Williams' measureables at the 2006 combine? I would like to compare them to Robison as Williams came from very littlepress to be the #1 pick because he was"a freak of nature". It would seem logical that Robison should be getting similiar treatment!

Mario Williams is a lot bigger than Robison. Keep that in perspective. Robison had a hell of a day though, as did several other white DL and LB, we should be happy.

Mario Williams ran 4.66 broadjumped 9-10 had a 40 1/2 vertical 7.19 in the 3 cone and 4.36 in the 20 yard shuttle. His bench press and wonderlic isn't listed by the source i found. So Robisons and Williams 40 time and vertical are identical.

I understand that Mario Williams is bigger than Brian Robison, but everyone made such a big deal about his measurables last year. It isa shame that Robison still won't be a 1st rounder. Some team is going to get a heck ofa football player, hopefully late on Day One! I know that the Saints have 9 picks and sure could use another DE like Robison.

As much as I'd love to see the Saints pick him up, Rob Ninkovich, a draft pick from last year, was very impressive in preseason and so I am hoping to see him move up the depth charts. But a defensive line with Ninkovich, Young, and Robison would not look too shabby to me..

I saw one of the most biased caste system comments about Brian Robison. It was on one of the usual caste promoting sites SI, ESPN etc. It referred to Robison as a "workout demon" but only an average football player. It suggested his impressive combine numbers should be ignored. If he was "a person of color" the embedded media (embedded in the rear ends of the affletes) would be promoting him as a first round pick.
